  • Publication number: 20240064437
Abstract: Provided is a solid-state imaging element provided with a sample-and-hold circuit, the solid-state imaging element improving the image quality of image data. A first pixel generates a predetermined first reset level and a first signal level according to an exposure amount. A second pixel generates a predetermined second reset level and a second signal level according to an exposure amount. A sample-and-hold circuit performs reset level sampling processing of causing a first individual capacitor to hold the first reset level and causing a second individual capacitor to hold the second reset level, and correlated double sampling processing of causing a common capacitor and the first individual capacitor to hold a first output level according to a difference between the first reset level and the first signal level and causing the common capacitor and the second individual capacitor to hold a second output level according to a difference between the second reset level and the second signal level.

  • Publication number: 20230370746
Abstract: Power consumption is reduced in an analog-to-digital conversion circuit using a TDC. The analog-to-digital conversion circuit includes a comparator, a counter, a time-to-digital converter, and a holding unit. The comparator compares an analog signal with a predetermined reference signal and outputs a comparison result. The counter counts a predetermined count value and outputs a bit string indicating the count value. The time-to-digital converter converts, into a digital signal, a time from when the comparison result is inverted until a least significant bit of the bit string reaches a predetermined value. The holding unit holds the bit string of when the comparison result is inverted.

  • Publication number: 20230028780
Abstract: Solid-state imaging elements are disclosed. In one example, an upstream circuit block generates a predetermined reset level and a plurality of signal levels each corresponding to an exposure amount, and causes capacitive elements, different from each other, to hold them. A selection circuit sequentially performs control to connect the capacitive element in which the reset level is held to a predetermined downstream node, control to disconnect capacitive elements from the downstream node, and control to connect the capacitive element in which any of the plurality of signal levels is held to the downstream node. A downstream reset transistor initializes a level of the downstream node when the capacitive elements are disconnected from the downstream node.

  • Publication number: 20220058095
Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for transaction recovery in a multitenant application server environment. At least one resource manager associated with a partition can be designated as a determiner resource for that partition only, in order to support eliminating transaction logs (TLOG) in processing a two-phase commit transaction. A transaction manager can prepare all other resource managers in the mid-tier transactional system before the determiner resource. Furthermore, the transaction manager can rely on the list of outstanding transactions to be committed that is provided by the determiner resource for recovering the transaction. The transaction manager can commit an in-doubt transaction returned from a resource manager that matches the list of in-doubt transactions returned from the determiner resource. Otherwise, the transaction manager can roll back the in-doubt transaction.

  • Patent number: 11057272
Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for transaction support in a multitenant application server environment. A system can provide for transaction support via a transaction manager. The transaction manager can be associated with one or more objects, including a configuration object and a runtime object. The configuration object can allow for a partition administrator to override globally-set parameters for transactions, including transaction timeout time. The runtime object can allow for a partition administrator to monitor partition-scoped transaction statistics. Furthermore, the transaction manager can additionally account for resource group migration within the multitenant application server environment.

  • Patent number: 7733120
Abstract: Disclosed is an impedance adjustment circuit including a comparator and a resistor control circuit. The comparator compares the resistance value of an external resistor and that of a replica resistor that forms a replica of a terminal resistor. The resistor control circuit includes a replica resistor control counter, a resistor-under-adjustment control signal holding circuit and a monitor circuit. The replica resistor control counter counts up and down based on the comparison result by the comparator to output a control signal to the replica resistor. The resistor-under-adjustment control signal holding circuit holds a control signal that is delivered to the terminal resistor.
