Abstract: A vehicle body motion informing device includes a vehicular interior part that configures an interior surface of a vehicular compartment of a vehicle, a lighting device mounted on a vehicular exterior side of the vehicular interior part and exiting light to a vehicular compartment, a control unit that receives an information signal relating to the motion of the vehicle body and controls the lighting device to exit light according to the information to inform the vehicle occupant of the motion of the vehicle body, and a surface member having semi-transmissivity and disposed to cover at least a lighting portion included in the vehicular interior part and a surrounding portion of the vehicular interior part. The lighting portion overlaps the lighting device and the light from the lighting device passes through the lighting portion to the vehicular compartment and the surrounding portion is near the lighting portion.

Abstract: A pressing step for pressing a bast is provided prior to a step for immersing the bast in an aqueous solution to decompose a gum existing in the bast and bonding bast fibers to each other. The bast fibers and the gum of the bast are mechanically separated from each other, so that an area of contact of the gum existing in the bast and the aqueous solution is increased, thereby promoting decomposition of the gum.

Abstract: A process for producing 4,6-diaminoresorcinols comprises the steps of:subjecting a dioxime of the formula (4) ##STR1## wherein R is an alkyl or phenyl group, to Beckmann rearrangement to thereby produce 4,6-diacylaminoresorcinol of the formula (5) ##STR2## wherein R is as defined above, and subjecting the 4,6-diacylaminoresorcinol to hydrolysis and recovering the product 4,6-diaminoresorcinol (6) ##STR3## or a salt thereof.
