  • Publication number: 20200125379
Abstract: A function node control unit records a pair of an input message and a computer program as a journal log, and sends the input message and the computer program to a virtual machine unit. The virtual machine unit executes the computer program with the input message as an argument, and sends the execution result to the function node control unit. The function node control unit outputs the execution result as an output message. At the time of activation of the information processing device, a recovery unit restores the virtual machine unit to the state at a particular time in the past; sequentially fetches journal logs recorded after the particular time; causes the virtual machine unit to sequentially re-execute the computer programs with the input messages included in the respective journal logs as corresponding arguments; and roll-forwards the state of the virtual machine unit to the latest state.

  • Patent number: 10625569
Abstract: An engine controller includes a reading section and a ratio-setting control section. The reading section is included in an air conditioner. The air conditioner draws an air into an air-conditioner housing, heats the air by a cooling water cooling the engine, and blows the air into a vehicle compartment. The reading section reads a state information that relates to a state of the air conditioner having an effect on an outside-air drawing ratio. The outside-air drawing ratio is a ratio of a volume of an outside air to a total volume of the outside air and an inside air. The ratio-setting control section decreases an amount of heat generated by the engine when the outside-air drawing ratio is a second ratio, which is smaller than a first ratio, to be smaller than an amount of heat generated by the engine when the outside-air drawing ratio is the first ratio.

  • Patent number: 10544668
Abstract: A technique facilitates use of acoustic measurements to enable geo-steering during a well operation. A steerable well string is provided with acoustic systems used to collect data which is then processed to determine geo-steering inputs. In some applications, the well string may comprise a coiled tubing drilling tool. The coiled tubing drilling tool or other well string tool is combined with an azimuthally distributed pitch-catch micro-sonic sensor system and an azimuthally distributed ultrasonic pulse-echo transducer system. Data from these two systems is provided to a processing system which processes the data to determine, for example, real-time, geo-steering inputs. These inputs may then be used to more effectively steer the coiled tubing drilling tool or other well string tool.
