Patent number: 7223093Abstract: A screw shaft for driving an injection screw driving body in a motor-driven injection device is coupled to a motor shaft of an electric motor in engagement of splines. A spline for the motor shaft engaging with a spline disposed at the outer periphery at a shaft end of the screw shaft is fitted into a recess formed inside of a motor shaft end. A flange formed around the spline is clamped at end face of the motor shaft via a bolt, and is formed at the inner periphery of a bearing sleeve detachably mounted to the motor shaft. An annular groove is formed at the inner periphery of an opening of the bearing sleeve for the side of the screw shaft. A ring member for air-tightly sealing a clearance formed between the screw shaft and the bearing sleeve is fitted into the annular groove. The spline for the motor shaft engaging with the spline on the screw shaft is disposed at the inner periphery of the bearing sleeve independent of the motor shaft, thus achieving the coupling via the respective splines of the motors.Type: GrantFiled: December 9, 2003Date of Patent: May 29, 2007Assignee: Nissei Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kinji Yokoya, Hiroshi Yamaura, Hiroo Okubo

Patent number: 6461139Abstract: A pressure detection apparatus of an injection molding machine composed of a drive mechanism and a movable member includes a pressure reception member disposed in the drive mechanism in such a manner as to be movable in a reciprocating direction of the movable member while being guided by a guide member. A ball screw or nut of a ball screw mechanism of the drive mechanism is fixedly attached to the pressure reception member. A load cell is disposed between the drive mechanism and the movable member in such a way as to be fixedly attached to one of a bearing ring retainer facing the movable member and the pressure reception member while abutting the other. The pressure reception member receives stress (load) directed in a rotation direction and arising from the ball screw or nut, thereby preventing imposition of the stress (load) on the load cell.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 2000Date of Patent: October 8, 2002Assignee: Nissei Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kinji Yokoya, Hiroshi Yamaura, Keizou Shimizu

Patent number: 6435151Abstract: A projection is formed on the outer circumference of an annular member and a stopping member is attached to a cylinder head supporting a camshaft thereon. A side surface of the projection comes into contact with a side surface of the stopping member to restrain a decompression cam from turning when the camshaft rotates in the normal direction. The stopping member does not apply any pressure to the annular member in a radial direction and the annular member does not exert any force on the camshaft. Consequently, frictional resistance against the rotation of the camshaft can be reduced and a loss in the output of the engine can be suppressed.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2000Date of Patent: August 20, 2002Assignee: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Hiroshi Yamaura, Koichi Tsutsumi, Yasuo Shimura

Patent number: 6376940Abstract: A drive motor has a shaft supported by a casing to be rotatable and movable in the axial direction over a predetermined stroke. A portion of the shaft is utilized in order to form a rotary motor section for rotating the shaft, and another portion of the shaft is utilized in order to form an electromagnetic plunger section for moving the shaft in the axial direction. The rotary motor section and the electromagnetic plunger section are integrally built in the casing. The drive motor is used in a drive apparatus for a pre-plasticization-type injection molding machine. The front end of the shaft is connected to the rear end of a screw disposed within a barrel of a plasticizing unit of molding machine. Through axial movement of the shaft, a resin passage of the barrel is opened and closed by a valve portion provided at the front end of the screw.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 1999Date of Patent: April 23, 2002Assignees: Nissei Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd., Nisso Electric CompanyInventors: Hiroshi Shibuya, Satoshi Nishida, Tokuzou Sekiyama, Satoru Matsubara, Atsushi Koide, Hiroshi Yamaura

Patent number: 6343584Abstract: A lubrication system for an engine includes an oil discharge port in a lower section of a crankcase. A crankshaft, with a crank web attached thereto, rotates in a rotation direction within the crankcase. A first distance is formed between the crank web and a first inner surface of the crankcase, downstream of the oil discharge port. A second distance is formed between the crank web and a second inner surface of the crankcase, upstream of the oil discharge port. The first distance is less than the second distance. Also, the oil discharge port is defined in part by a back edge, which is wedge shaped and points in a direction opposite the rotation direction of the crankshaft. The back edge scoops oil from the crank web and into the oil discharge port.Type: GrantFiled: March 31, 2000Date of Patent: February 5, 2002Assignee: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Osamu Kudou, Nobuaki Inumaru, Satoshi Shimashita, Kouichi Tsutsumi, Yoshimi Yamaguchi, Hiroshi Yamaura

Patent number: 6062843Abstract: A motor control apparatus for an injection molding machine has a control function section for stopping a drive motor; i.e., a servomotor in order to stop a movable member, upon reception of an open signal indicating that a safety door is opened. The motor control apparatus further includes an additional control function section for performing position control for the servomotor, upon reception of the open signal, so as to stop the movable member at a predetermined position. Therefore, when the safety door is opened and thus the open signal is supplied to the additional control function section, the additional control function section performs position control for the servomotor such that the movable member stops at the predetermined position.Type: GrantFiled: April 24, 1998Date of Patent: May 16, 2000Assignee: Nissei Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventor: Hiroshi Yamaura
