  • Patent number: 6404165
Abstract: An electricity accumulator which is capable of equalizing the voltages of a plurality of electricity accumulating devices such as batteries in an inexpensive and simple construction and quickly even in a state which is not a fully charged state. Dissipation of electrical energy is prevented. The electricity device includes a plurality connected in series. There is a capacitor connectable in parallel with at least two of the electricity accumulating devices. A connection switching device switches selectively a first connection mode in which the capacitor is connected to a first electricity accumulating device so that the capacitor is charged or discharged through the first electricity accumulating device and a second connection mode in which the capacitor is connected to a second electricity accumulating device.

  • Patent number: 5931465
Abstract: The present invention is embodied in a game device for playing a game in which a moving body is levitated above a play field board by air emitted from a number of holes formed in the play field board. A moving body feeding device automatically feeds the moving body onto the play field board. After use, the moving body is recovered, lifted above the play field board, and dropped into guides which guide the moving body onto the play field board.

  • Patent number: 5742039
Abstract: A reading unit reads two dimensional bar codes which indicate at least a majority of commodity information of the commodities required for managing the commodities. A file producing unit produces a commodity master file based on the thus-read commodity information. Each code of the codes is adhered to a respective commodity of the commodities. The majority of commodity information comprises information which is determined when the commodities are shipped.

  • Patent number: 5298243
Abstract: Disclosed are a crosslinked gelatin microspheres containing CSF and a water soluble CSF-gelatin conjugate. Both the microspheres and the water soluble conjugate provide an improved CSF stability. They have a high potentiation on the antitumor activity of macrophages in respect of the CSF amount and the time required for macrophage activation and are effective in maintaining their activated state for a long period, compared with the native CSF. The mechanism of macrophage activation by the microspheres containing CSF is mediated via phagocytosis and different from that by native CSF, which is believed to activate macrophages via cell surface receptor. The species specificity of CSF may be abrogated when the CSF is internalized into macrophages through phagocytosis.

  • Patent number: 4205128
Abstract: Immobilized enzyme compositions for industrial use are produced by reacting an enzyme and/or enzyme-containing microorganism cells with an anion-exchange high molecular substance having a quaternary pyridine ring in the molecule, and then subjecting the reaction products to molding and drying in a molding machine. A polyfunctional crosslinking agent may be added at any stage of the process. The immobilized enzyme compositions thus prepared can be packed in a reactor of an industrial scale for continuous enzyme reaction.
