  • Patent number: 10235210
Abstract: An operation management apparatus includes a storage unit and a processor. The storage unit stores therein operation scenario execution information including a first operation scenario and parallel execution information. The first operation scenario indicates an order of execution of a plurality of operation manipulations for a plurality of servers. The parallel execution information indicates whether the respective operation manipulations are to be executed in parallel with another operation manipulation. The processor acquires availability information indicating whether the respective servers are available. The processor generates execution determination information on basis of the operation scenario execution information when the availability information indicates existence of an unavailable server. The execution determination information indicates whether respective first operation manipulations are to be actually executed in execution of the first operation scenario.

  • Publication number: 20150278693
Abstract: A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a prediction program that causes a computer to execute a process includes storing accumulated information in a storage unit, in association with a task having previously occurred, the task being a process that needs work performed by an operator, from among a plurality of operation processes executed by an information processing apparatus, the accumulated information including a status information on the information processing apparatus obtained at a time of execution of a determination process from which subsequent processes branch depending on a determination result and which is executed before the task, and a branching result of the determination process and predicting whether the task is to occur after a predetermined timing based on the status information on the information processing apparatus obtained at the predetermined timing and the accumulated information.

  • Publication number: 20150207866
Abstract: A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium having stored therein a program for causing a computer to execute a process, the process includes; dividing multiple processes in a process definition, in which the multiple processes for an operation target in an information processing system are defined, into multiple groups based on partition information indicating a partition of a unit of the processes; determining a type of each of the divided groups based on the processes belonging to the group; and determining a type of the process definition based on the determined types of the groups.

  • Patent number: 5953703
Abstract: A method of selecting lens colors for eyeglasses. In the method, the colors of the skin, hair lips and pupils of a purchaser of eyeglasses are measured, and the angular positions of the measured colors on a hue circle are determined. Then, hues apart by specified angles from the measured colors are extracted as basic proposed colors. The purchaser is questioned to obtain words expressing an image for the lens color, and a color tone corresponding to each word is retrieved from a color name data base. For each color tone, the number of given words and weight of word are calculated. Further, hues which match the measured colors of the purchaser are determined based on the words. When certain basic proposed colors coincide with the thus determined hues, the numerical points for the certain basic proposed colors are increased.

  • Patent number: 5576778
Abstract: A design system for designing shapes of eyeglasses. In the system, image data expressing the face of a person are first subjected to image processing such as color compensation and profile emphasis. Subsequently, feature points representing the facial features of the face are extracted, and a plurality of horizontal, vertical and inclined auxiliary lines and auxiliary points on the auxiliary lines are set based on the feature points. Anchor points of a Bezier curve which defines the shapes of the lenses and frame of the eyeglasses are then determined. The Bezier curve is converted to data composed of polar coordinates, and the converted data are transmitted to machine tools. Control points provided at the anchor points are controlled based on words which represent a desired design image for the eyeglasses. The design system can automatically generates the shapes of the lenses and frames of eyeglasses based on features of individuals and their design preferences.
