  • Publication number: 20240053188
Abstract: An article identification system includes a weight sensor, a distance sensor, and an article identification device including an information processing device. The information processing device calculates, based on weight measurement data detected by the weight sensor, a first item picked up position of a plurality of picked up estimated items and a degree of accuracy indicating a degree of correctness of the estimation of the picked up estimated items. The information processing device obtains a second item picked up position based on the distance data of the person obtained by the distance sensor. The information processing device calculates a correction certainty by correcting the certainty of the estimated picked up items based on the first item picked up position and the second item picked up position, and identifies the picked up items based on the correction certainty.

  • Publication number: 20210356593
Abstract: There is provided a distance measurement system in which a plurality of distance measurement sensors are installed to generate a distance image of an object in a measurement region, the system including a cooperative processing device that performs alignment between the distance measurement sensors, and composes distance data from the plurality of distance measurement sensors to display the distance image of the object. In order to perform the alignment between the distance measurement sensors, trajectories (referred to as motion lines) of a person moving in the measurement region are acquired by the plurality of distance measurement sensors, and the cooperative processing device performs calibration of an installation position of each of the distance measurement sensors such that the motion lines acquired by the distance measurement sensors coincide with each other in a common coordinate system.

  • Publication number: 20160154595
Abstract: A data archive system comprises a plurality of library apparatuses, a buffer which stores data temporarily and a server which controls the library apparatuses and the buffer. If the data is stored in the buffer, the library apparatus records the data to optical disc(s). In the first controlling state, the buffer stores the data input to the system from the outside, even if at least one library apparatus is powered off. Accordingly, the service to the user for archiving data in the state of offline is provided because it is possible to record and read new data to/from the buffer even if the power source of a library apparatus which is part of a group is turned off.

  • Patent number: 9311958
Abstract: If a fault, or deterioration in read-out quality, is detected during recording processing with respect to a first recording face, a duplication is made, with respect to the recorded data on the second recording face of the same recording medium, on a separate recording medium.

  • Patent number: 8730771
Abstract: The present invention relates to a recording/reproducing device that records data on a double-sided recordable optical disk for storage and management purposes. The device includes a unit which stores a plurality of optical disks, a unit which records data onto and reproduces data from an upper side of an optical disk, a unit which records data onto and reproduces data from a lower side of an optical disk, a unit which conveys an optical disk between the disk storage unit and each recording/reproducing unit. When a request for reading data recorded on the lower side of the disk is received while the upper side is being written onto, a control unit interrupts a data recording process on the upper side, reproduces data recorded on the lower side, and after completion of reproducing the recorded data, resumes the interrupted data recording process.

  • Publication number: 20100095151
Abstract: A processor predicts predicted slack which is a predicted value of local slack of an instruction to be executed and executes the instruction using the predicted slack. A slack table is referred to upon execution of an instruction to obtain predicted slack of the instruction and execution latency is increased by an amount equivalent to the obtained predicted slack. Then, it is estimated, based on behavior exhibited upon execution of the instruction, whether or not the predicted slack has reached target slack which is an appropriate value of current local slack of the instruction. The predicted slack is gradually increased each time the instruction is executed, until it is estimated that the predicted slack has reached the target slack.
