    Abstract: The present invention enables page-level or document-level print setup of an XPS document via a user interface. The print ticket of a page of interest is obtained by merging a job-level print ticket 1804, to which the page of interest belongs, a document-level print ticket 1805, to which the page of interest belongs, and a page-level print ticket 1806 of the page of interest. The obtained individual page print tickets are compared with the job-level print ticket and if there are differences, it is determined that this particular page has exception settings and the exception settings are saved and displayed.

    Abstract: The power supply is effectively controlled in a semiconductor integrated circuit device having a multi domain structure so as to reduce the power consumption. When an interrupt signal is inputted, the system controller makes an instruction of wakeup to the corresponding switch control unit. At this moment, the system controller controls power supply so as to be supplied sequentially from the core power source area belonging to the lower hierarchical level dependent on the core power source area to which power is supplied. The system controller outputs the power supply switch-on request signal to the switch control unit. The switch control unit turns ON the power supply switch and sends the power-on completion signal back to the system controller. Similarly, the system controller supplies power sequentially to core power source areas in the dependency relation one after another from the lower hierarchy to the upper hierarchy.

The application transfers at least the position of the memory area, an identifier for specifying a parameter, and the setting value of the parameter to the printer driver or function extension module to set the setting value in the parameter specified by the identifier of the memory area. The printer driver and function extension module perform printing processing using the parameter of the memory area.

A first page of print data is divided into a predetermined number of pieces in accordance with the number of sheets of print paper, and a second page of print data is divided in the same manner.
