The electronic control unit includes an ambient light sensor provided for automatically turning the light emitting device on if ambient light level is below a predetermined level and for turning the light emitting device off if ambient light level is above the predetermined level. The ambient light sensor protrudes through an opening formed in an outer surface of the base portion of the light emitting assembly and is exposed to ambient light.
