Patent number: 9352654Abstract: A slider is slightly moved in a direction in which both side surfaces of the slider come in contact with inclined surfaces of impact mitigating parts of neighboring contact strip pieces. For this reason, the inclined surface of the impact mitigating part of the contact strip piece which the slider approaches is relatively downwardly slid with respect to one side surface of the slider. In addition, the inclined surface of the impact mitigating part of the contact strip piece from which the slider moves away is relatively upwardly slid with respect to the other side surface of the slider. As a result, since an impact generated between the contact strip piece and the slider is mitigated by the impact mitigating part without fitting the slider into a stepped section between the neighboring contact strip pieces, the slider is smoothly transferred from the one contact strip piece of the neighboring contact strip pieces to the other contact strip piece.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2011Date of Patent: May 31, 2016Assignees: East Japan Railway Company, Toyo Electric Mfg. Co., Ltd.Inventors: Haruo Yamada, Takeshi Kurita, Fumio Mizushima, Shinji Nakajima, Hitoshi Satoh

Patent number: 7587966Abstract: The present invention relates to a web processing device, comprising a plurality of pads Pi revolving around a axis X1, a cutter 30 for cutting a continuous web W, and a plurality of anvils Ai for receiving the cutter 30. The pads Pi receive the continuous web W, and the cutter 30 cuts the continuous web W into a cut-off web W2 together with the anvil Ai positioned at a first relative level L1. The pad Pi revolves around the axis X1 while changing an attitude of the pad Pi by turning about a line extending from the first axis toward the pad Pi, thereby carrying the cut-off web W2 while changing an attitude of the cut-off web W2. When the pad Pi changes its attitude, the anvil Ai relatively moves to a second relative level L2 so as not to hinder the pad Pi changing its attitude.Type: GrantFiled: January 26, 2005Date of Patent: September 15, 2009Assignee: Zuiko CorporationInventors: Masaki Nakakado, Hitoshi Satoh

Publication number: 20090122241Abstract: A liquid crystal display device is provided with a TFT substrate 10, a CF substrate 20, spacer beads 31, and liquid crystal 32. The TFT substrate 10 and the CF substrate 20 are assembled in parallel. The spacer beads 31 hold the two substrates 10, 20 at a desired distance. The liquid crystal 32 is sealed between the two substrates 10, 20. Protrusions 18 are formed on an opposing surface to the CF substrate 20 of the TFT substrate 10. The protrusions 18 each enclose whole peripheries of respective distribution areas 17 arranged for disposing the spacer beads 31 therein. Therefore, when ink containing the spacer beads 31 is applied into the distribution area 17, the spacer beads do not move out of the distribution area 17. The spacer beads 31 are thus reliably disposed in the distribution area 17.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 21, 2007Publication date: May 14, 2009Inventor: Hitoshi Satoh

Publication number: 20090103039Abstract: A plurality of beads that will be assigned to either spacer beads 35 or core beads 34 are applied with ink to areas including positioning concavities 32. Then, as the ink vaporizes and the drops get smaller, the plurality of beads move on a surface of the distribution areas 31 while coming closer to each other, and either ones of the beads are held in the positioning concavities 32 and are assigned to the core beads 34. Since the core beads 34 cannot move out of the positioning concavities 32 (to the surface of the distribution areas 31), the other beads which remain on the distributions areas 31 are drawn to the core beads 31, come adjacent to the core beads 34 on the distribution areas 31, and are assigned to the spacer beads 35.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 23, 2008Publication date: April 23, 2009Inventor: Hitoshi SATOH

Patent number: 5523518Abstract: Sulfuric acid used in the process of fabricating semiconductor devices, etc., can be recycled to reduce the amount of sulfuric acid to be discarded. A sulfuric acid effluent is fed to an anode chamber of a sulfuric acid-concentrating electrolyzer partitioned by at least one cation exchange membrane to concentrate sulfuric acid and generate oxidizing substances, so that the sulfuric acid can be used at the step of using sulfuric acid, and, when the concentration of impurities built up in the system exceeds a certain level, a part of sulfuric acid in the system is fed to a unit for refining sulfuric acid, where the sulfuric acid is refined and whence the refined sulfuric acid is fed back to the system. According to this recycling process, it is possible to obtain sulfuric acid having high oxidizing power with no addition of an oxidizing substance such as hydrogen peroxide thereto.Type: GrantFiled: December 15, 1993Date of Patent: June 4, 1996Assignee: Chlorine Engineers Corp., Ltd.Inventors: Satoshi Shikami, Hitoshi Satoh
