    Abstract: A method for assembling a lens module to be free of dust and other pollutants includes providing a circuit board, an image sensor, an optical filter, and a mounting frame. The image sensor is connected to the circuit board. The optical filter is glued to the top side of the mounting frame, and the bottom side of the mounting frame is connected to the circuit board. The optical filter, the mounting frame, and the circuit board define a closed space receiving the image sensor. A lens is mounted in a lens holder to form a lens unit and the lens holder is attached to the circuit board, to position the lens above the image sensor, thereby obtaining the finished lens module.

    Abstract: Fault detection, isolation and restoration systems for electric power systems using “smart switch” points that autonomously coordinate operations to minimize the number of customers affected by outages and their durations, without relying on communications with a central controller or between the smart switch points. Each smart recloser can be individually programmed to operate as a tie-switch, a Type-A (normal or default type) sectionalizer, or a Type-B (special type) sectionalizer. The Type-A recloser automatically opens when it detects a fault, uses a direction-to-fault and zone-based distance-to-fault operating protocol, and stays “as is” with no automatic opening when power (voltage) is lost on both sides of the switch. The Type-B sectionalizer does the same thing and is further configured to automatically open when it detects that it is deenergized on both sides for a pre-defined time period, and to operate like a tie-switch once open.

The smart switches typically operate during the substation breaker reclose cycles while the substation breakers are open, which enables the substation breakers to reclose successfully to restore service within their normal reclosing cycles. Alternatively, the smart switch may be timed to operate before the substation breakers trip to effectively remove the substation breakers from the fault isolation process. Both approaches allow the FDIR system to be installed with minimal reconfiguration of the substation protection scheme.

    Abstract: Etch uniformity is improved by providing a thermal pad between an insert ring and electrostatic chuck in an etching chamber. The thermal pad provides a continuous passive heat path to dissipate heat from the insert ring and wafer edge to the electrostatic chuck. The thermal pad helps to keep the temperature of the various components in contact with or near the wafer at a more consistent temperature. Because temperature may affect etch rate, such as with etching hard masks over dummy gate formations, a more consistent etch rate is attained. The thermal pad also provides for etch rate uniformity across the whole wafer and not just at the edge. The thermal pad may be used in an etch process to perform gate replacement by removing hard mask layer(s) over a dummy gate electrode.

    Abstract: A method for treating reverse osmosis concentrated water, comprises adding a precipitant and oxidant to reverse osmosis concentrated water for treatment, filtering to obtain clear liquid, and adding catalyst for water treatment to clear liquid for catalytic oxidation to obtain a first-stage treated water. Optionally, the liquid may be subjected after catalytic oxidation to an adsorption treatment; performing reverse osmosis treatment on first-stage treated water to obtain second-stage reverse osmosis product water and second-stage reverse osmosis concentrated water; and adding oxidant to second-stage reverse osmosis concentrated water for oxidation treatment to obtain directly discharged effluent water. The obtaining of effluent water may further comprise subjecting liquid after oxidation treatment to adsorption treatment. The above method can recycle 75-85 wt % of water, and operates easily.
