    Abstract: A dynamic capacitive power transfer system for an elevator that can realize the real-time powering of the elevator when it is in the moving status. It includes a metal track along the building side as the power transmitter and a piece of metal at the elevator side as the power receiver. There is a gap between the transmitter and receiver, and up to kW power can be transferred wirelessly and efficiently to serve the air conditioner, lightning, and other electronic devices in the moving car. The steel wheels and ropes may be used to connect the moving car to the earth ground, which contributes to form the current returning loop. It eliminates the electric cables and the corresponding flexible cable carrier system for the linear movement.

According to certain embodiments, one plate from each of the outer coupling capacitor at least in part overlaps one plate of the inner coupling capacitor on a primary side and another plate from the outer coupling capacitor at least partially overlaps another plate of the inner coupling capacitor on a secondary side. Each plate of the outer coupling capacitor has a larger area than each plate of the inner coupling capacitor. Further, a power transfer unit is included and configured to transfer power capacitively through the vertical pair of coupling capacitors, where the power transfer unit can include first and second inductors coupled to each plate of the outer coupling capacitor, respectively.

The battery module includes a set of batteries, a case receiving the set of batteries, and a sampling unit for collecting a voltage signal and a temperature signal of the set of batteries. The sampling unit is provided with a connector, and a stopper for fixing the connector is formed on the case. By forming the stopper on the case, the connector can be directly assembled to the stopper during assembling process of the set of batteries without the need to fix the connector by glue or bolt connection. Therefore, not only an assembling process is simplified, but also the connector is not easily damaged during the assembling process.
