    Abstract: A hybrid method for capturing CO2 from a gas mixture is provided, comprising a step of contacting the CO2 containing gas mixture with a slurry consisting of a liquid medium, imidazole or imidazole derivative(s), and a metal-organic framework material (MOFs). For the slurry system, the mass fraction of the imidazole or imidazole derivative(s) in it ranging from 2 to 50% and the mass fraction of the metal-organic framework material in it ranging from 5 to 25%. In the technical solution provided in the present invention, through combining absorptive separation by the liquid solution in which the imidazole or imidazole derivative(s) is dissolved, adsorption separation by the MOF material suspended in the solution, and selective permeation separation by a liquid medium film forms on the outside surface of the suspended MOFs, an absorption-adsorption hybrid separation effect for CO2 gas mixtures is efficiently achieved.

    Abstract: A manufacturing method of a big-model low-permeability microcrack core includes: (1) determining the size of a microcrack core to be manufactured; (2) placing stones in a baking oven to bake for 24 h under 120° C., placing the stones into a mixer, mixing and spraying oil, enabling the oil to seep into the stone, evenly forming a thin oil film on stone's surface; (3) mixing the oil sprayed stone with quartz sand and cement, adding water to mix evenly to obtain cement paste; (4) spreading butter on core mould's inner surface to form a thin butter film, pouring the cement paste into the core mould to obtain a cement sample; (5) loading confining pressure outside the core according to the requirements of porosity and permeability of the mould to adjust a pore permeability value; (6) obtaining the big-model core with microcrack after the cement sample is dried and formed.

    Abstract: A method includes providing a substrate with a patterned second layer over a first layer. The second layer includes a second layer opening having a first CD equal to the CD produced by a lithographic system (CDL). CDL is larger than a desired CD (CDD). A third layer is formed to fill the opening, leaving a top surface of the second layer exposed. The second layer is removed to produce a mesa formed by the third layer. The CD of the mesa is equal to about the first CD. The mesa is trimmed to produce a mesa with a second CD equal to about CDD. A fourth layer is formed to cover the first layer, leaving a top of the mesa exposed. The substrate is etched to remove the mesa and a portion of the first layer below the mesa to form an opening in the first layer with CDD.

Rubber pellets may be dispensed in predetermined amounts at desired location(s) within the cavity to provide the rubber needed to form the molded rubber object. Heat and pressure may be applied to the mold to cause the rubber pellets to fill the cavity defining both the desired final form of the molded rubber object and the tab. After the heat and pressure has been applied, a gripping device may grasp the tab and move the tab in a direction and with sufficient force to peel the rubber object from the mold cavity. If desired, the tab may be removed from the molded rubber object.

The incident portion is located at a height greater than ½ of a liquid level. The sensor is adjacent to the tube for detecting the excited fluorescence. The light beam has an incident direction forming a non-straight angle with a long axis of the tube.
