  • Patent number: 9082872
Abstract: A TMR stack or a GMR stack, ultimately formed into a sensor or MRAM element, include insertion layers of Fe or iron rich layers of FeX in its ferromagnetic free layer and/or the AP1 layer of its SyAP pinned layer. X is a non-magnetic, metallic element (or elements) chosen from Ta, Hf, V, Co, Mo, Zr, Nb or Ti whose total atom percent is less than 50%. The insertion layers are between 1 and 10 angstroms in thickness, with between 2 and 5 angstroms being preferred and, in the TMR stack, they are inserted adjacent to the interfaces between a tunneling barrier layer and the ferromagnetic free layer or the tunneling barrier layer and the AP1 layer of the SyAP pinned layer in the TMR stack. The insertion layers constrain interdiffusion of B and Ni from CoFeB and NiFe layers and block NiFe crystalline growth.

  • Publication number: 20150195176
Abstract: In one embodiment, a learning machine may be used to select observer nodes in a LLN such that the liveness of one or more nodes of interest may be monitored indirectly. In particular, a management device may receive network data on one or more network traffic parameters of a computer network. The management device may then determine, based on the network data, a candidate list of potential observer nodes to monitor activity or inactivity of one or more subject nodes. The management device may then dynamically select, using a machine learning model, a set of optimized observer nodes from the candidate list of potential observer nodes.

  • Publication number: 20150195184
Abstract: In one embodiment, a routing topology of a network including nodes interconnected by communication links is determined. Important nodes in the network which are of relative importance are determined based on their location in the determined routing topology. Also, one or more request messages are sent causing the important nodes to gather local network metrics. Then, in response to the one or more request messages, one or more response messages including the network metrics gathered by each important node are received.

  • Publication number: 20150195033
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for selecting cooperative strategies for relay nodes in a wireless network. In one embodiment, a cooperative strategy for a relay node in a wireless network is selected from a set of two or more cooperative strategies. The cooperative strategy defines a manner in which the relay node relays messages along a multi-hop route through the wireless network. Use of the cooperative strategy by the relay node is then effected. In one embodiment, the cooperative strategy is selected based on one or more channel quality based criteria. By selecting the cooperative strategy for the relay node, and in one preferred embodiment selecting cooperative strategies for all other relay nodes in the multi-hop route, performance of the wireless network can be improved.

  • Publication number: 20150192531
Abstract: The present invention discloses a vehicular radiation inspection system comprising a mobile vehicle body, a detection arm, a radiation source and a detector. The vehicular radiation inspection system further comprises a following mechanism separated from the detection arm. The following mechanism contains radiation protection material, and the following mechanism follows the detection arm to move in a non-contact manner during inspection of the inspected object, so as to prevent radiation leakage. In the present invention, it does not need to infuse radiation protection material having a high density, such as lead, into the detection arm. Therefore, it can effectively decrease the weight of the detection arm, and it does not need to provide a balance counterweight on the mobile vehicle body on which the detection arm is carried, thereby effectively solving the problem that the vehicular radiation inspection system has an excessively large mass.
