  • Patent number: 7710414
Abstract: Disclosed is a common voltage regulating circuit of a liquid crystal display device which can be adjusted by software, comprising: a pulse signal generating means for outputting a pulse width modulation signal in response to up/down signal for adjusting a common voltage; a smoothing means for smoothing a pulse width modulation signal to a direct current level provided from the pulse signal generating means; and an amplifying means for amplifying the signal smoothed by the smoothing means to a predetermined level and then outputting a common voltage signal. Accordingly, since a common voltage can be adjusted by software by means of a surplus pulse width modulation signal generated in an integrated board without installing a separate hardware, the common voltage can be easily adjusted. Further, since a variable resistor has not been used, not only manufacturing cost but also possibility of breakage can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 7253797
Abstract: Disclosed is a liquid crystal display device which is capable of adjusting a contrast ratio by transforming and outputting input data of a reference voltage circuit. Analog voltage signal generator stores an input synchronous signal and a plurality of input digital data signal in response to a write enable signal, and converts the stored digital data signal into a plurality of analog voltage signal pairs in response to an output enable signal. A plurality of reference voltage generators divide a boosted source voltage according to the analog voltage signal pairs from the analog voltage signal generator to generate a plurality of reference voltages. A source driver integrated circuit receives the plurality of reference voltages from the plurality of reference voltage generators.

  • Patent number: 7209134
Abstract: Disclosed is a liquid crystal display which can automatically select channels of signals outputted from a digital signal receiver according to frequencies of input signals, when the input signals are digital signals. According to the liquid crystal display, the liquid crystal display having a conversion board for basically receiving an outside power supply and a digital data signal including a dot signal, wherein the conversion board comprises; a digital signal receiver for receiving the outside power supply and the digital data signal including the dot signal; and a comparator for comparing whether a frequency of a dot signal is higher than a frequency used in a driving device for the liquid crystal display or not. In the liquid crystal display, without using a scaler having large cost and space in the conversion board, the manufacturing cost of the liquid crystal display can be reduced.
