Patent number: 10399661Abstract: A system for moving loads comprises a cargo hold floor, at least one row of rollers integrated into the floor, at least one guide rail in the floor and extending parallel to the at least one row of rollers, and a least one transport vehicle. The vehicle is received in the guide rail and movable along the guide rail and comprises at least one connecting element which is movable between first and second operating positions wherein the connecting element, in its first operating position, is arranged such that the vehicle is positionable under a load deposited onto the at least one row of rollers and, in its second operating position, is arranged such that it interacts with the load so as to connect the load to the vehicle such that the load is entrained by the vehicle when the vehicle is moved along the guide rail.Type: GrantFiled: October 13, 2016Date of Patent: September 3, 2019Assignees: AIRBUS OPERATIONS GMBH, AIRBUS OPERATIONS SAS, AIRBUS SASInventors: Dietrich Lampe, Kai Christensen, Knut Niemeck, Claude Cuiller, Pierre-Eric Dereux, Frank Feest, Kathryn Waidelich, Hyung Jo Kim

Patent number: 10292798Abstract: A device and method for moving cargo above a floor inside an aircraft comprises a rigid under-floor. The device comprises a body part for supporting the weight of the cargo, lifting means and for lowering the body part from its lifted position into a retracted position, and a drive unit for moving the body part. The method comprises the steps of providing at least two devices in an aircraft, positioning the devices beneath the cargo, wherein the body parts of the devices are in their retracted positions. The body parts are lifted such that the weight of the cargo is supported by the body parts and the cargo is lifted above the floor. The cargo is then moved to a desired position and lowered into their retracted positions such that the cargo is lowered and the devices are moved away vertically from the cargo.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2016Date of Patent: May 21, 2019Assignees: AIRBUS OPERATIONS GMBH, AIRBUS OPERATIONS SAS, AIRBUS SASInventors: Dietrich Lampe, Kai Christensen, Claude Cuiller, Pierre-Eric Dereux, Frank Feest, Hyung-Jo Kim, Knut Niemeck, Kathryn Waidelich

Patent number: 7142531Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system of relaying calls with a tone provision function in the next generation mobile communication network. The call relaying procedures and functions support a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) function between an originating gateway controller and a terminating gateway controller, by modifying the Bearer Independent Call Control (BICC) protocol, while receiving the tone from an external tone generating device using the BICC protocol, Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP), and 3rd Generation-Inter-Operability Service (3G-IOS) protocol in the next generation mobile communication network based on an Internet Protocol (IP). The BICC, MGCP and 3G-IOS protocols improve the IP-based network by supporting the VoIP function between the originating gateway controller and the terminating gateway controller, while receiving the tone from an external tone generating device.Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 2001Date of Patent: November 28, 2006Assignee: LG Electronics Inc.Inventor: Hyung-Jo Kim

Patent number: 7139568Abstract: A system and method for mobile number portability service in an asynchronous mobile communication network is provided. The system stores changes in mobile service providers and an address of a Network Provider Database (NPDB) in the service network which is presently providing the mobile subscriber with mobile service. By performing a mobile number portability inquiry only for a mobile subscriber who has changed his mobile service provider can be processed by the NPDB in the service network presently providing the mobile subscriber with mobile service, thus reducing the number of NPDBs required and improving system performance.Type: GrantFiled: September 4, 2003Date of Patent: November 21, 2006Assignee: LG Electronics Inc.Inventor: Hyung-Jo Kim

Publication number: 20040053610Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system for mobile number portability service in an asynchronous mobile communication network. More particularly, the present invention has advantages in that system performance is improved and the number of NPDB, which should be provided as many as the number of service networks in the related art, can be reduced into one NPDB, by storing whether mobile subscriber changes his mobile service provider and an address of an NPDB in a service network presently providing the mobile subscriber with mobile service and by performing mobile number portability inquiry only for a mobile subscriber who practically changed his mobile service provider, in the NPDB in the service network presently providing the mobile subscriber with mobile service.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 4, 2003Publication date: March 18, 2004Applicant: LG Electronics Inc.Inventor: Hyung-Jo Kim
