  • Patent number: 8403371
Abstract: First and second ridge portions at the foremost end of a flexible pipe are pressed into first and second enlarged-diameter ridge portions, respectively, each having an external diameter larger than the internal diameter of a rotary nipple and smaller than the front-end root diameter of a taper external thread of the rotary nipple. The back surface of the second enlarged-diameter ridge portion is brought into contact with a front-end surface of the rotary nipple. A rubber seal ring is fitted into each of a first and second root portion of the flexible pipe, respectively, and an aligning ring is fitted into each of a third root portion of the flexible pipe located on the front-end side thereof from the first root portion and a fourth root portion of the flexible pipe located on the back side thereof from the second root portion, respectively.

  • Patent number: 6681368
Abstract: A file management method is used to display an index file having a frame structure made up of a plurality of windows by a browser which does not support a frame function. The file management method includes the steps of specifying, as a base target, at least one specific window within the index file, and including contents of the specific window in a non-frame tag part of the index file, so as to eliminate the need to manage two kinds of files and to simplify the file management.

  • Patent number: 6101576
Abstract: When a control unit is in a non-operating (non-printing) state, data to be saved (character-image data) in a RAM cache memory is transferred to a disk cache memory at regular intervals in order of priority, thereby saving the data in the disk cache memory. If a power supply is cut off and then power is reintroduced, high-priority character-image data, which has been transferred from the RAM cache memory to the disk cache memory and saved in the disk cache memory when printing is not being carried out, is restored in the RAM cache memory. As a result, the high-priority data saved in the RAM cache memory when the power supply was cut off can be restored in the RAM cache memory, thereby raising the hit rate.
