    Abstract: A motor vehicle includes a traction battery module which has a hermetically sealed module housing in which at least one cell stack pair including a left-hand-side and a right-hand-side cell stack including, in each case, at least two battery cells is accommodated. The traction battery module has a bottom wall in a horizontal plane.     Abstract: A traction battery module has a housing body having four side walls and two end walls, and a plurality of cell elements which are arranged in the housing body, are arranged parallel to one another and parallel to two of the four side walls and are combined to form a cell element stack. A respective holding frame is positioned at the two end-side longitudinal ends of the cell element stack, on which holding frame the longitudinal ends of the cell elements are held such that the cell element stack is spaced apart in all four transverse directions from the four side walls. Each holding frame has a spring arrangement on its spring side facing a side wall and does not have a spring arrangement on its fixed side opposite the spring side. The holding frame is pressed by the spring arrangement onto the side wall assigned to the fixed side.

    Abstract: A battery housing for a battery module of a traction battery of a motor vehicle has (i) a housing for enclosing at least one battery cell of the battery module, (ii) at least one cooling groove which is formed in at least one housing wall of the housing after which is open away from the battery cell and which serves for conducting a cooling fluid, and (iii) a cover which is configured as a planar plate and which is connected to the housing wall and which serves for closing the at least one cooling groove. Owing to the cooling groove formed in the housing wall, the cover can be configured as an inexpensive planar plate, such that cooling of a battery module is made possible with little outlay in terms of production.

With the heat exchange module, efficient use is made of a structural space, while the heat exchange module at the same time is able to be manufactured at low cost.
