    Abstract: A slide in a pistol applies force to the trigger. A spring is biased between the slide and a link member. The link member is screw-adjustable from outside the firearm in order to vary the pressure on the trigger. The link member is arranged to be non-rotating and has a hole therein. A hammer pushrod passes through the hole.
