  • Patent number: 5209662
Abstract: A riding simulation system of motorcycle provides at least a model motorcycle on which a person can ride and which can be operated by a person. In response to the operation and movement of the person who rides on the model motorcycle, the model motorcycle is moved by a movable mechanism in a desirable direction such as a yawing direction, a rolling direction and a pitching direction. Preferably, the moving image such as the scenery which is seen from the running motorcycle is displayed in front of the person who rides on the model motorcycle. Such moving image is varied in response to the driving condition of the model motorcycle.

  • Patent number: 5102806
Abstract: A method for analyzing fluid by a multi-fluid modulation mode is characterized by subjecting a plurality of sample fluids (which may be different or a single sample fluid divided into a plurality of systems) to a fluid modulation by reference fluids at various frequencies, respectively. An analytical portion provided with only one sensor is simultaneously and continuously supplied with the respective sample fluids. An output signal from the sensor in the analytical portion is divided into signal components of the respective modulation frequencies for the respective sample fluids to rectify and level, whereby obtaining analyzed values about the respective sample fluids is achieved.

  • Patent number: 4659451
Abstract: A reference electrode for use in testing liquid at a high pressure, has an internal liquid containing body having an internal liquid containing space therein and a liquid-junction one side of which is exposed to the high pressure liquid to be tested and the other side of which is exposed to the internal liquid contained in the internal liquid containing space. A reference electrode body surrounds the internal liquid containing body and defines a pressure compensating space between the internal liquid containing body and the inside of the reference electrode body, the pressure compensating space being open outwardly of the reference electrode body at a part there of which is exposed to the high pressure liquid to be tested when the reference electrode is in position for normal use, the pressure compensating space receiving the high pressure liquid to be tested therein.

  • Patent number: 4367091
Abstract: Fired iron-ore pellets are prepared which have at least two precipitated slag phases of different chemical compositions which appear among the iron-oxide grains of the pellets. The pellets each contain not less than 4% by weight of CaO+SiO.sub.2 so that the resulting pellets have the characteristic of forming large cracks which are formed in the course of reduction of the pellets. The cracks which form cause each pellet to split into several pieces. The fired iron-ore pellets exhibit excellent reducibility.

  • Patent number: 4273577
Abstract: The present invention discloses a blast-furnace operation method which comprises selecting three factors, i.e. the oxygen volume in blast, the ore/coke and the reducibility of the burden materials as control factors from among these which participate in the variation of heat input and heat output of blast furnace, plotting values of these three factors obtained from the practical operation of efficient blast furnaces on a graph consisting of three parallel axes indicating the three factors, evaluating the conditions of furnace heat with reference to a balanced state of the three plotted factors and adjusting one or more of the three factors in the furnace so all will lie within a suitable range thereby balancing the furnace heat.

  • Patent number: 4129437
Abstract: In the present invention, after a powdered iron ore has been subjected to granulation and firing into spherical pellets, a further crushing is applied while adjustment of the particle size of the crushed pellets is made so that the outer surface of the pellets is composed of spherically formed surfaces and crushed surfaces. By doing so, improvements are made in the angle of repose and in the reducing characteristic of iron ore pellets, and eventually an efficient and highly economical blast furnace operation is attained.
