In accordance with a determination that the second media content item is of the first type of media content item, the first electronic device generates a media control request for controlling playback of the second media content item at the second electronic device, and in accordance with a determination that the second media content item is of a second type of media content item, the first electronic device generates a media control request for controlling playback of the second media content item at a third electronic device that is distinct from the second electronic device.
