  • Patent number: 5983954
Abstract: A weft yarn feeding device includes a feed roller which rotates at a circumferential speed equal to a running speed of a weft and a pinch roller which moves in and out of contact with the circumference of the feed roller with the weft in between. The rollers are provided between a length measuring device and a main nozzle for injecting a fluid. Upon commencement of feeding of the weft, the feed roller and the pinch roller are brought into mutual pressure contact to positively feed the weft toward the main nozzle. Further, the feed roller surface has a large frictional coefficient and the pinch roller surface has a very small frictional coefficient.

  • Patent number: 5794664
Abstract: A weft feeding device which alleviates an excessive tension acting on the weft upon feeding of the weft and inhibits breakage of the weft includes a gripper to grip the weft at prescribed times, a length measuring roller located downstream of the gripper, and a pinch roller to hold the weft against the roller at prescribed times. Opening and closing of the gripper is linked with movement of the pinch roller into and out of contact with the length measuring roller. A linear or a rotary solenoid is provided to operate the pinch roller and the gripper by a pulse width modulation method or a linear method.

  • Patent number: 5109406
Abstract: A communication switching system is disclosed which includes a plurality of telephone sets and data terminals connected to an exchange. The data terminals have corresponding telephone sets. Other telephone sets operate independently. Information regarding the correspondence of the data terminals to the telephone sets is stored in the exchange. The telephone sets related to the data terminals initiate connection through the exchange of one data terminal to another data terminal. The telephone sets control the connection by the exchange using a two key sequence. The exchange controls the connection in accordance with data terminal/telephone set corresondence data stored in the exchange.

  • Patent number: 4941171
Abstract: An electronic private branch exchange having a function to cause a plurality of particular extension telephone sets to simltaneously respond to an incoming signal from the corresponding one of a plurality of main wire trunks. The exchange is capable of changing an extension telephone set at which an incoming signal tone is to be produced, in accordance with a time zone as needed. When there is an incoming signal from a main wire trunk, extension telephone sets to perform an incoming signal processing are searched from a first memory. A time zero in which an incoming signal tone is to be sent to the searched extension telephone sets is read from a second memory. If the read contents of the second memory and those of a third memory coincide, an incoming signal processing is performed, accompanied by a transmission of an incoming signal tone to those extension telephone sets. The contents of the third memory can be changed by a certain extension telephone set.

  • Patent number: 4802209
Abstract: The present invention discloses a switching system including an exchange coupled to a plurality of telephone lines, a plurality of telephone sets, and an attendant console. When the exchange receives a paging request of an incoming telephone call from the attendant console, it determines one of a plurality of predetermined answer codes and causes the attendant console to display the determined answer code data. Then the exchange makes a speed path between the incoming telephone call and the telephone set, when the answer code data is dialed at the telephone set after the call and answer code data are announced.

  • Patent number: 4707853
Abstract: An electronic private branch exchange apparatus is constituted by a plurality of office line trunk circuits for connecting a calling terminal in an exchange network to one of a plurality of office lines. An order of connection priority for the office line trunk circuits is set and a range of the office line trunk circuits is set, with a range of the office line trunk circuits selected according to the order of connection priority in accordance with a time band within which a call is made. Ofice line trunk circuits are selected according to the order of connection priority in a designated range.

  • Patent number: 4375914
Abstract: A battery powered camera with a collapsible handgrip movable between a closed and an extended position is equipped with a battery checker that signals when the battery drops in capacity to a predetermined level. The battery checker is operable only during the period in which the handgrip is moved between the closed and extended position or vice versa. The battery powered camera further comprises means for signalling a switching state in which the main power switch remains closed. The signalling means is also operable only when the handgrip is being moved between closed and extended positions.

  • Patent number: 4299460
Abstract: An automatic focusing unit of the invention is detachably mounted on a camera having a focusing tube which is adjustable to focus photographic lens on an object to be photographed. The automatic focusing unit includes a lens position detector which is urged to project outwardly from the housing of the unit and come into contact with the focusing tube to detect the position of the lens when the unit is mounted on the camera. The lens position detector is withdrawn into the housing of the unit against a biasing force when an external force is exerted thereon and successfully protected from any damage occurring from erroneous mounting of the unit on the camera.
