  • Publication number: 20160280967
Abstract: This invention provides a surface protection sheet that allows for easy application to an adherend surface with good removability. The surface protection sheet provided by this invention comprises a PSA layer and a support substrate supporting the PSA layer. The surface protection sheet has a peel strength (SA) after adhered to a stainless steel plate and stored at 23° C. for 30 minutes, and a peel strength (SB) after adhered on a stainless steel plate and stored at 70° C. for 168 hours, at a peel strength ratio (SB/SA) of 5 or less. The surface protection sheet has a peel strength to itself of 5 N/25 mm or less when the PSA layer is adhered to itself and peeled apart after one minute.

  • Publication number: 20160264825
Abstract: Provided are a surface protection sheet with excellent weatherability, good anti-residue properties and low-contaminating properties and a water-dispersed PSA composition for surface protection sheets. The surface protection sheet provided by this invention comprises a PSA layer and a support substrate. The PSA layer is formed from a water-dispersed PSA composition comprising an acrylic polymer and a crosslinking agent. The acrylic polymer is obtained by emulsion polymerization of a starting monomer mixture comprising 50 to 99.9 wt % C1-20alkyl (meth)acrylate and 0.1 to 5 wt. % carboxy group-containing monomer. The crosslinking agent comprises one, two or more species selected from a group consisting of oxazoline-based crosslinking agents, isocyanate-based crosslinking agents and epoxy-based crosslinking agents. The support substrate comprises 50% by weight or more polyolefin resin and 5 to 30% by weight inorganic powder.

  • Publication number: 20150291858
Abstract: A water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to the present invention includes a (meth)acrylic polymer obtained by polymerizing monomer ingredient(s) including as a main component at least one (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester in which the alkyl group has 1-18 carbon atoms, a rubber ingredient which is incompatible with the (meth)acrylic polymer and which has a degree of swelling of 130% or higher upon immersion for 2 hours in a mineral-oil-based rust preventive oil having a kinetic viscosity at 40° C. of 5 mm2/s, and a tackifier, and a blending ratio by weight of the (meth)acrylic polymer to the rubber ingredient is from 95/5 to 5/95.

  • Patent number: 6344500
Abstract: The present invention provides: an aqueous primer coating composition of which the deterioration of the water resistance is prevented with the high adhesion maintained, and which is excellent in the gasohol resistance and the pigment dispersion stability; and a thing coated with this aqueous primer coating composition. The aqueous primer coating composition according to the present invention, comprises acid anhydride-modified poly(olefin chloride) emulsion resin (A), aqueous alkyd resin (B) and aqueous novolac-type epoxy resin (C), wherein the contents of the (A), (B), and (C) are (A) 20 to 60 weight %, (B) 10 to 60 weight %, and (C) 10 to 60 weight % in terms of solid content weight % to the total resin solid content in the composition. The coated thing, according to the present invention, is coated with the present invention aqueous primer coating composition.

  • Patent number: 4709898
Abstract: A fluid-sealed engine mounting has a connector adapted to be connected to an engine, a base adapted to be connected to a vehicle frame, an elastic member joined between the connector and the base and elastically deformable in response to vibrations transmitted thereto, the connector, the base, and the elastic member jointly defining a fluid chamber in which a fluid is sealed, and a partition dividing the fluid chamber into a first chamber adjacent to the connector and a second chamber adjacent to the base, the partition having an orifice through which the first and second chambers communicate with each other. The engine mounting also includes a diaphragm mounted on the base or the connector for varying the volume of one of the first and second chambers when vibrations are transmitted to the engine mounting.

  • Patent number: 4706272
Abstract: A paging communication system is configured so that a plurality of receivers are called by group in response to a paging signal transmitted from a base station. The base station is provided with first circuitry comprising a plurality of timers for counting the number of transmissions to each receiver, and second circuitry operative to transmit a first kind of data indicating that the information code assigned to each of the particular receivers is masked and a second kind of data for restarting the ordinary receiving process with respect to the masked information code. Each receiver is provided with a decoder circuit operative in response to the first kind of data to inhibit the ordinary receiving process with respect to the masked code and operative in response to the second kind of data to restart the ordinary receiving process.
