  • Patent number: 11817283
Abstract: An electrical switching system of a circuit breaker, with a first busbar extending in a longitudinal direction, which carries a first contact and a second contact spaced apart therefrom in the longitudinal direction, and which has a first power connection, and with a second busbar extending in the longitudinal direction, which carries a first counterpart contact and a second counterpart contact spaced apart therefrom in the longitudinal direction, and which has a second power connection. The second busbar is mounted so as to be movable in a transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, wherein the first busbar partially overlaps the second busbar along the longitudinal direction. In the longitudinal direction, the contacts and the counterpart contacts are arranged between the two power connections in the overlap region.

  • Patent number: 11538649
Abstract: A circuit breaker housing for holding a switching device unit and a number of connection contacts for a connection line and/or a busbar. The housing has a first housing part and a second housing part. In the joined, assembled state, the housing parts form a front side and a rear side opposite said front side and at least one connection side and end faces located opposite one another. A holding chamber for a connection module having one of the connection contacts is provided on the front side and/or on at least one of the connection sides.

  • Publication number: 20220122791
Abstract: A circuit breaker, in particular of a power breaker, having a busbar which is mounted so as to be movable between a closed position and an open position. The busbar, a trip device and a hand lever are coupled by means of the mechanism in such a way that, when the hand lever is moved from the first position into the second position, the busbar is moved from the open position into the closed position. Upon tripping of the trip device, the busbar is moved from the closed position into the open position, and the hand lever is moved from the second position into the first position if it is not blocked. When the hand lever is moved from the second position into the first position, the busbar is moved from the closed position into the open position regardless of whether the busbar is blocked in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 10411457
Abstract: A power distribution system for connection to an AC voltage network, having a UPS power supply unit for uninterruptible power supply with a network-side input and with at least one output to which a number of loads are connected or can be connected in parallel load circuits, wherein a protective device having an electromechanical tripping device, in particular a thermal/magnetic tripping device, and having an evaluation and tripping unit is connected in the or each load circuit, which tripping unit trips the tripping device on the basis of an electronic overload and/or short-circuit characteristic curve and on the basis of the output voltage from the UPS power supply unit.

  • Publication number: 20150309104
Abstract: The invention relates to a differential current monitoring device for monitoring differential currents in power supply systems, having a first measuring current transformer and having a measuring circuit for determining the differential current and having a computing unit for evaluating the differential current and for generating a switch-off signal. The differential current monitoring device has a device for detecting arcs, the integration of which according to the invention can considerably reduce the technical effort needed to monitor the differential current in connection with the arc detection in comparison to a functionally and spatially separate arrangement of both protective measures.
