    Abstract: A method for identifying high-risk orders associated with a customer that includes the steps of: receiving an order that includes a customer number, an order type and a plurality of entries; identifying a customer contract based on the order type and the customer number, the customer contract having a plurality of terms that correspond to the entries; comparing the entries to corresponding terms using rules; and identifying a high-risk order containing at least one error from the comparison. The method can also include assigning a result code or a result text to the order, which corresponds to the errors that are identified, and changing the rule set by adding or removing rules.

    Abstract: A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a server in communication with a first network element where the server includes a controller to determine routing values associated with a plurality of second network elements where the second network elements are interfaced with the first network elements where the first network elements and the second network elements utilize Interior Gateway Routing Protocol and where the routing values include at least one of routing algorithm constants, service provider routing identifiers, and size of largest deliverable packets, detect a mismatch among the routing values, determine a target routing value when the mismatch is detected and transmit the target routing value to at least one of the second network elements, where the routing values are adjusted in response to the transmitted routing value to match each other. The remedy tickets interact with remedy tickets at the institutional trouble ticket management systems. These remedy tickets are bonded with maintenance platform tickets.

If a threshold number of alert messages is exceeded, an interface status based on a diagnostic code for the interface may be determined. A query value for the interface may be adjusted. Based on the amount of the increase in the alert messages, different actions may be indicated. An administrator for the application interface or for equipment associated with the interface may be notified for servicing the equipment.

Based on the testing and analysis, a comprehensive trouble ticket may be generated that is customized with specific alarm information allowing for increased efficiency in problem isolation and saving significant time and resources in resolving the problem.
