The method includes generating the artificial neural network (ANN) by combining a plurality of fully connection neural networks (FCNNs) with a multi-layer recurrent neural network (RNN) and training the artificial neural network using input data and output data of the automatic transmission. The input data might include a preset gear stage, a target gear stage, a current signal of a clutch hydraulic actuator, and an engine torque and the output data might include an engine revolution per minute (RPM), a turbine RPM, a transmission output RPM, and a vehicle acceleration.
