Patent number: 12164588Abstract: A plurality of web pages in a web browser are presented to a user. One or more web pages of the plurality of web pages are navigated in the web browser by following at least one hyperlink. A browser history of the user is stored as a chronological list or recently presented web pages. A determination is made whether a dwell time of the user on a first web page has exceeded a threshold time. In response to determining that the dwell time exceeded the threshold, an of-user-interest tag is added to the first web page stored to the browsing history.Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 2019Date of Patent: December 10, 2024Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Jordan Matthew Grubb, James Alexander Gordon, Richard Pilot

Patent number: 12149086Abstract: In various embodiments, a process for configuring or commissioning a solar power system includes receiving, at a controller, hardware identifiers of a plurality of power electronics modules to be configured. Each of the plurality of power electronics modules of at least a portion of the plurality of power electronics modules is associated with a corresponding photovoltaic panel. A hub is configured to wirelessly communicate with the plurality of power electronics modules. The controller is physically connected to the hub and communicates with the hub via wiring that also carries power from photovoltaic panels to an inverter. The process includes configuring, by the controller, the plurality of power electronics modules using the received hardware identifiers.Type: GrantFiled: June 16, 2023Date of Patent: November 19, 2024Assignee: Lunar Energy, Inc.Inventors: Kyle Breuning Evans, Sebastian Wolf, Mark Holveck, Hai-Yue Han, Craig Patrick Timms, Paul Chapman, Christopher Wright, Ryan Pflaum, Manuel Alejandro Valenzuela Acosta, César Pecharromán Arribas, James Alexander Stewart Carragher, Jesús Prieto Colomina

Patent number: 12147557Abstract: Computer systems and associated methods are disclosed to implement the non-interactive join of privacy-preserving dataset sketches. In some embodiments, an entity can publish a one-time sketch of their dataset that would enable another entity to join their data without exposing private information. The sketch can map, using a hash function, the identities associated with a first value of the dataset to a data structure, in some embodiments. A same or different entity can join the first sketch with a privacy-preserving second sketch of a second dataset that includes added noise, and can determine an estimate of a number of identities that correspond with specific values of the first and second datasets from the joined dataset. The sketch can be published just one time, and therefore does not require separate new private computations with privacy budgeting for each additional party when a join is desired, in some embodiments.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2022Date of Patent: November 19, 2024Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: James Alexander Cook, Nina Mishra

Patent number: 12118398Abstract: Aspects include computation systems that can identify computation instances that are not capable of being reentrant, or are not reentrant capable on a target architecture, or are non-reentrant as a result of having a memory conflict in a particular execution situation. For example, a system can have a plurality of computation units, each with an independently schedulable SIMD vector. Computation instances can be defined by a program module, and a data element(s) that may be stored in a local cache for a particular computation unit of the plurality. Each local cache does not maintain coherency controls for such data elements. During scheduling, a scheduler can maintain a list of running (or runnable) instances, and attempt to schedule new computation instances by determining whether any new computation instance conflicts with a running instance and responsively defer scheduling. Such memory conflict checks can be conditioned on a flag or other indication of the potential for non-reentrancy.Type: GrantFiled: July 20, 2018Date of Patent: October 15, 2024Assignee: Imagination Technologies LimitedInventors: Luke Tilman Peterson, James Alexander McCombe

Patent number: 12102771Abstract: A pressure regulating or pressure relief device comprises an inlet and an outlet chamber with an outlet. The inlet is in fluid communication with the outlet chamber. A valve seat is located between the inlet and the outlet. A valve member is biased to seal against the valve seat, and displaces from the valve seat by an inlet pressure at the inlet increasing above a pressure threshold to allow a flow of gases from the inlet to the outlet via the outlet chamber. The flow of gases through the outlet causes an outlet pressure in the outlet chamber to act on the valve member together with the inlet pressure to displace the valve member from the valve seat.Type: GrantFiled: January 21, 2022Date of Patent: October 1, 2024Assignee: FISHER & PAYKEL HEALTHCARE LIMITEDInventors: Thomas Heinrich Barnes, Shane Terry Massey, Taylor James Edwards, Arjen David Kat, James Alexander Gordon, Grant Leigh Nelson, Carsten Ma On Wong Corazza
