  • Publication number: 20200189533
Abstract: A control system for an air maintenance tire system is provided. The control system includes a sensor unit that in turn includes a pressure sensor for measuring a pressure in the tire cavity and an antenna for transmitting pressure data. A processor receives the pressure data and includes a memory for storing a predetermined low-pressure threshold. Actuation means that are in communication with the processor and actuate and de-actuate operation of the air maintenance tire system. A first signal is transmitted from the processor to the actuation means to actuate operation of the air maintenance tire system when the measured pressure in the tire cavity is below the threshold. A second signal is transmitted from the processor to the actuation means to de-actuate operation of the air maintenance tire system when the measured pressure in the tire cavity is at or above the threshold.

  • Patent number: 10676085
Abstract: Various implementations described herein generate training instances that each include corresponding training instance input that is based on corresponding sensor data of a corresponding autonomous vehicle, and that include corresponding training instance output that is based on corresponding sensor data of a corresponding additional vehicle, where the corresponding additional vehicle is captured at least in part by the corresponding sensor data of the corresponding autonomous vehicle. Various implementations train a machine learning model based on such training instances. Once trained, the machine learning model can enable processing, using the machine learning model, of sensor data from a given autonomous vehicle to predict one or more properties of a given additional vehicle that is captured at least in part by the sensor data.

  • Patent number: 10650573
Abstract: A method assigns weights to physical imager pixels in order to generate photorealistic images for virtual perspectives in real-time. The imagers are arranged in three-dimensional space such that they sparsely sample the light field within a scene of interest. This scene is defined by the overlapping fields of view of all the imagers or for subsets of imagers. The weights assigned to imager pixels are calculated based on the relative poses of the virtual perspective and physical imagers, properties of the scene geometry, and error associated with the measurement of geometry. This method is particularly useful for accurately rendering numerous synthesized perspectives within a digitized scene in real-time in order to create immersive, three-dimensional experiences for applications such as performing surgery, infrastructure inspection, or remote collaboration.

  • Publication number: 20200143820
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating a transcript of a legal proceeding or other multi-speaker conversation or performance in real time or near-real time using multi-channel audio capture. Different speakers or participants in a conversation may each be assigned a separate microphone that is placed in proximity to the given speaker, where each audio channel includes audio captured by a different microphone. Filters may be applied to isolate each channel to include speech utterances of a different speaker, and these filtered channels of audio data may then be processed in parallel to generate speech-to-text results that are interleaved to form a generated transcript.

  • Publication number: 20200110766
Abstract: A relative atlas may be used to lay out elements in a digital map used in the control of an autonomous vehicle. A vehicle pose for the autonomous vehicle within a geographical area may be determined, and the relative atlas may be accessed to identify elements in the geographical area and to determine relative poses between those elements. The elements may then be laid out within the digital map using the determined relative poses, e.g., for use in planning vehicle trajectories, for estimating the states of traffic controls, or for tracking and/or identifying dynamic objects, among other purposes.

  • Patent number: 10614248
Abstract: A system can be designed that shares transaction data across different organizations while preserving data privacy and anonymizing the source organization. Organizations can enter into an agreement to share transaction data with each other through a trusted data sharing system. The organizations can input user records that include primary and secondary explicit user identifiers into the data sharing system. The data sharing system can correlate explicit user identifiers of a user across organizations via an internal identifier without exposing explicit user identifiers. The data sharing system comprises a data anonymizer agent for each sharing organization. A data anonymizer agent selectively applies anonymization filters to quasi-identifiers in the transaction data based on quasi-identifier type to extend data privacy protection measures to quasi-identifiers without drastically reducing or eradicating the utility of the quasi-identifiers.

  • Patent number: 10613965
Abstract: Method and systems of visually depicting instrumented and sampled data are provided. A first stream of instrumented data, the instrumented data collected via execution of code contained in a user-scriptable engine. Then a second stream of sampled data is received, the sampled data collected by monitoring execution of code contained in scripts executed by the user-scriptable engine. Then an aggregated version of a portion of the instrumented data and an aggregated version of a portion of the sampled data are simultaneously displayed in one or more viewing regions. Then user interaction with an object pertaining to the aggregated version of a portion of the instrumented data is received. In response to the receiving user interaction with the object pertaining to the aggregated version of a portion of the instrumented data, the aggregated version of the portion of the sampled data is caused to change to depict a different aggregated version of a portion of the sampled data.
