  • Patent number: 11153433
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for call flagging using shared call logs are provided in the illustrative embodiments. A determination is made that a phone call should be flagged as undesirable. In a call log in the device, a call entry corresponding to the phone call is selected. The call entry is modified to form a modified call entry, the modified call entry comprising an annotation, the annotation describing a reason for flagging the call as undesirable. A sharing rule is configured relative to the modified call entry. The modified call entry is sharing selectively according to the sharing rule with a subset of a set of social contacts of a user of the device on a social network.

  • Patent number: 11137262
Abstract: At an application executing in a device in a vehicle, a phrase is detected in a conversation occurring between two users. A determination is made that the phrase is usable in providing a navigation directive. Using NLP, a deep parsing the conversation is performed to extract a context applicable to the phrase. the context is evaluated to determine whether the context is related to a navigation of the vehicle. At the device, from the conversation, a future location is computed of the vehicle during the navigation. Using data from a data source, a suboptimal driving condition is identified on a route between a present location of the vehicle and the future location. A user in the vehicle is alerted about the suboptimal driving condition on the route.

  • Patent number: 11134079
Abstract: In an approach, a computer identifies a user attempting to access information that requires authentication approval via a computing device. The computer receives one or more digital images from the computing device. The computer determines a current field of view of the computing device based on the received one or more digital images. The computer determines a current location of the user. The computer determines a current posture of the user. The computer determines whether at least one of the current field of view, the current location, and the current posture during a current attempt to access information matches one or more of a previous field of view of the computing device, a previous location of the user, and a previous posture of the user during a previous attempt to access the information. Based on the determination, the computer performs an action related to the user accessing the information.

  • Patent number: 11093892
Abstract: Navigation data to a first location on a delivery route for a first delivery is sent to a navigation components of a delivery vehicle. Upon receipt of a notification that the first delivery to the first location is canceled, the availability of a backup delivery is determined. The location of each of a pre-determined set of potential buyers is compared to the current location of the delivery vehicle, and in real-time, a consumption of resources is calculated for a backup delivery and the return the one or more items to a designated return location. A determination of whether the backup delivery to a particular potential buyer is favorable as compared to the return the one or more items to the designated return location and, if favorable, navigational instructions are transmitted in real-time to the delivery vehicle to deliver the one or more items to the particular potential buyer.

  • Patent number: 11080908
Abstract: Approaches presented herein enable displaying of a street view or map in the context of a video stream object. Specifically, captured video is analyzed for a plurality of geo-coordinate and direction metadata associated with frames of the video. The video may also be analyzed for visual indicia of location or direction. A user watching the video selects an object therein, which may be then identified by its coordinates and labeled for the user. A map or street view corresponding to the selected object is shown synchronized to the video (e.g., in a side-by-side view), based on the geo-coordinate and direction metadata associated with the video frames. The synchronized video and map speed may be manipulated. The video may also be broken up by frames, and the user permitted to navigate beyond the bounds of the video, where frames are played when the user navigates to areas within the video.

  • Patent number: 11048965
Abstract: A computer enabled method for locating a misplaced object that includes receiving at an object locating system a request defining an object to be located, the input data request being received audibly by a digital assistant. The method may include analyzing the request with the object locating system by classifying the object to be located with an image search of a corpus of images correlated to comparison objects; and receiving images from Internet of Thing devices (IoT) devices of search objects. The method further includes comparing the images correlated to comparison objects from the image search with images of the search objects to identify retrieval objects that match the object classified by the object locating system that analyzed the request. The location of the retrieval object is then identified.

  • Patent number: 11042808
Abstract: Predicting probable activity consequences is provided. Information is collected from data sources to identify various activities. Patterns of how any identified activity is linked with a corresponding event are detected based on analyzing the information. The patterns are indexed with data having a relationship to a particular event. Activity context information associated with a set of identified activities corresponding to the particular event is extracted from the information. A cognitive model of how the set of identified activities corresponding to the particular event are related to a set of activity consequences is generated. Probable activity consequences with degree of severity corresponding to the activity context information is predicted based on the cognitive model. A recommendation to perform a set of action steps to reduce impact of the probable activity consequences on different aspects of the activity context information associated with the set of identified activities is generated.
