  • Publication number: 20140349719
Abstract: A folding shade used with a cell phone or tablet computer to improve visibility of the device's display in bright light environments. The shade includes a top panel, two perpendicular side panels, a top extension panel, and an optional rear edge lip. Disposed between the top panel and the side panels and between the extension panel and rear edge lip are living hinges that enable the shade to be shipped and stored in a flat configuration and selectively folded into a three sided structure positioned. During installation, the top panel extends perpendicularly outward from the device's front surface and aligned with the top panel. The two side panels are unfolded and extend downward perpendicularly aligned with the top panel. The extension panel is positioned over the top horizontal surface and the rear edge lip is extended around the back. Clamping surfaces are then used to hold extension panel against a top horizontal surface.

  • Publication number: 20140218897
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a pocket-size accessory that can acts as a stand for holding a smart cellphone, MP3 player or tablet computer with a built in flashlight unit. The accessory includes a clam shell style housing comprising an upper case and a lower case pivotally connected together along one end with the flashlight unit mounted on the inside surface on the lower case. The upper case includes two upper side arms and a lower resting lip that extends perpendicularly outward. The lower case includes an integrally formed transverse structure with two laterally extending axles that are extended into two bores form in the arm of the upper case to enable the two cases to snap fit together and pivot approximately 270 degrees. The flashlight unit includes at least one LED bulb, a printed circuit board with a voltage boosting circuit, at least one battery, and a switch.

  • Publication number: 20140130334
Abstract: A holding apparatus that includes a base with complex curved upper surface with an upward extending front arc section, a long curved incline section, and a longitudinally aligned slot formed on the upper surface. The area of the upper surface adjacent to the slot is relatively flat enabling the lower surface of a camera or an device holder disposed transversely over the base to may be perpendicular aligned with base adjacent to the bolt. The bolt is inverted with a head and a threaded shaft that extends through the slot. During assembly, an electronic device may be disposed over the top surface of the base and securely attached to the exposed end of the bolt. By moving the bolt to different positions on the slot, the electronic device may be positioned at different locations on the base and at different angles. The base may be used with an optional device holder or an extension adapter.

  • Publication number: 20140131250
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a multi-functional accessory that can acts as a case for transporting an earphone and as a stand for holding a smart cellphone or MP3 player with a display in a landscape or portrait orientation for viewing. The accessory includes a clam shell style housing comprising an upper case and a lower case pivotally connected together along one end with an earphone holding structure mounted on the inside surface on the lower case. The upper case includes two upper side arms and a lower resting lip that extends perpendicularly outward. The lower case includes an integrally formed transverse structure with two axles extending laterally into two bores form in the arm of the upper base to enable the upper and lower cases to snap fit together and pivot approximately 270 degrees. An earphone holding structure is attached to the lower case and fits into the space formed between the upper case and the lower case when closed.

  • Publication number: 20140080439
Abstract: A warning system for wireless mobile telephones that notifies designated users and broadcast an audible sound when suddenly de-acceleration. The telephone is coupled to a wireless telephone transmitter configured to operate with a nearby compatible wireless telephone network. The telephone includes a display, a speaker, an internal accelerometer and a programmable, impact-activated software program loaded into its working memory. The software program when executed continuously monitors for triggering signals from the internal accelerometer, from ancillary devices, or external audio sounds. When a triggering signal is produced, the software program is activated into an alarm state which then performs the notifications tasks designated by the user during the setup steps. It may also activate the telephone's camera or sound recorder.
