Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to traffic control systems that electronically disseminate locally relevant information to street traffic. Various embodiments relate to systems and methods for supplying a network connection from a traffic controller system in a traffic controller cabinet to an electronic display. Various embodiments include TCC systems, methods, and mediums that control a traffic signal using traffic control circuitry, display selected display content on an electronic display, basing the selection on several factors, including information regarding the controlled traffic signal. The various embodiments also communicate with the network that is coupled to the traffic control circuitry, all while protecting the electronic display from environmental factors.
