The mounting peg has a first portion adjacent the mounting plate with a first diameter and a second portion opposite the mounting plate having a second diameter smaller than the first diameter. The device further includes a panel configured to dampen sound, which has a plurality of panel holes extending through a thickness of the panel. A panel hole diameter of one of the plurality of panel holes is less than the first diameter and greater than or equal to the second diameter, and the panel is configured to attach to the mounting device via the mounting peg extending through the one of the plurality of panel holes.
