    Abstract: A joist assembly system that is structured for dynamic retrieval of components, dynamic and precise positioning and location of retrieved components, assembly of the components to form a joist, and delivery of the assembled joist. The joist assembly system has a plurality of material handling systems, a plurality of welding systems, and a rigging table system. The material handling systems are structured to load and position the components such as chords and webs onto the rigging table. The rigging table in turn supports the chords or webs. Subsequently, the plurality of welding systems weld the webs to the chords to form the joist.

    Abstract: A system and method which may allow a user to interact with a computer without having to use a mouse. If a user presses a hot key, e.g., Control+Alt+J, a user interactive control unit may look at a screen the user is currently working on, determine what on the screen may be clicked on by a mouse, assign a key to each of the clickable part, and display the name of an assigned key close to its corresponding clickable part on the screen. If the user presses a displayed key, a second screen may be presented, and the user interactive control unit may look at the second screen and determine what on the second screen is clickable by a mouse. The process may continue until the user interactive control unit determines that the user has hit his final destination and performed the operation he is interested in. Consequently, a user may use his mouse less but still be able to click on certain things. This method may save users, especially typists, considerable time.

    Abstract: A system and method of transmitting data cells are disclosed. The system includes a data transmitting and receiving unit including transceiver circuitry, a main backplane interface, and backplane interconnection circuitry. The transceiver circuitry transmits and receive data cells over the data link, the main backplane interface provides physical interconnection to the backplane, and the backplane interconnection circuitry transmits and receives cells. The main backplane interface including at least one cell signal terminal and at least one operations data signal terminal. The operations data signal terminals are separate from the cell signal terminals. The operations data signal terminals and the cell signal terminals are configured to connect to mating connectors on a backplane. Backplane interconnection circuitry couples the transceiver circuitry to the main backplane interface.
