    Abstract: A pocket size aromatherapy scent dispenser includes a flat casing defining a narrow cavity, a lid formed by an upper portion of the casing and a living hinge extending across the casing below the upper portion and pivotally connecting the lid to a remainder portion of the casing such that the lid can pivot about the living hinge between opened and closed positions relative to the remainder portion of the casing. The lid in the opened position is pivoted away from the remainder portion of the casing and opens an upper portion of the narrow cavity above the living hinge to an external environment. The lid in the closed position is disposed adjacent to the remainder portion of the casing and closes the upper portion of the cavity to the external environment.

    Abstract: A pressure-applying device for relieving distress includes a pressure applicator having a plate member and a pressure-applying body attached to and protruding from one of a pair of opposite surfaces of the plate member. The plate member has a central portion with a pair of opposite surfaces facing in opposite directions and a peripheral portion surrounding the central portion and having a pair of first opposite sides respectively connected to opposite ends of the central portion and a pair of second opposite sides spaced from a pair of opposite edges of the central portion so as to define respective elongated enclosed slots within the plate member between the second opposite sides of the peripheral portion and the pair of opposite edges of the central portion of the plate member.

    Abstract: An aerosol dispenser comprises a body having an interior for holding an aerosol can. The body has a bottom portion with an opening therein that permits the insertion of the can into the interior in a first direction. A fastening end piece located on the bottom portion of the body holds the aerosol can within the interior and engages the body in a direction substantially orthogonal to the first direction of can insertion. In addition, the aerosol can may be inserted in a direction substantially parallel with the major axis of the body, the fastening end piece may have a lug which protrudes into the interior of the body when the fastening end piece has engaged the body, and the fastening end piece may engage the body by sliding into place. In one particular aspect, the aerosol dispenser is used for discharging a chemical repellant, such as tear gas.
