  • Publication number: 20150199307
Abstract: Techniques are shown for enabling a network system to receive collaborative edits from users at a first front end URL, and receive viewing requests from users at a second front end URL. The edits are processed using operational transformation techniques and stored as sets of edits. Multiple pluggable flattening utilities retrieve the sets of edits and convert them into structured data documents specifically tailored for different client devices or online services. The structured data documents are stored and retrieved by rendering servers upon receiving viewing requests. This Abstract is submitted with the understanding that it will not be used to interpret or limit the scope or meaning of the claims.

  • Patent number: 9078814
Abstract: An intrasnal spray device contains a composition for the intranasal delivery of fentanyl or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof to an animal includes an aqueous solution of fentanyl or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a pharmaceutically acceptable additive selected from (i) a pectin and (ii) a poloxamer and chitosan or a salt or derivative thereof; provided that when the composition comprises a pectin it is substantially free of divalent metal ions; and which, in comparison to a simple aqueous solution of fentanyl administered intranasally at the same dose, provides a peak plasma concentration of fentanyl (Cmax) that is from 10 to 80% of that achieved using a simple aqueous solution of fentanyl administered intranasally at an identical fentanyl dose. A method for treating or managing pain by intranasally administering the composition is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8990341
Abstract: A computer-implemented method tracks diffusion. The method includes receiving a tracking request from an initiating user to track diffusion of content located at a content address. A computer tracking system generates a first shortened content address for the content address, from which the content is provided to the initiating user. The method includes receiving content requests from one or more requesting users, and generating, for each requesting user, a unique subsequent shortened content address for the content address. Content is provided to each requesting user using the subsequent shortened content address generated for each requesting user respectively. Each content request from the requesting users is made using either the first shortened content address or one of the subsequent shortened content addresses.

  • Patent number: 8909596
Abstract: Solutions, systems, and techniques for applying 2-dimensional changes to a shared document are discussed. The document is divided into vertical columns of a particular width, each column represented as a one-dimensional vector that is a sequential list of blocks in that column, each block representing a content item included in the document. Each block has a starting column, a block height, and a block width indicated by how many columns the block occupies. Each block has row indexes that represent a relative position of the block in each column it occupies. A document modification command is represented as transfer functions, each transfer function corresponding to a document column. The transfer functions are applied to the document columns to alter a row index of block(s) in the corresponding column(s), thereby altering the relative position of a block with respect to other blocks in that column.

Abstract: A case assembly of a media binder includes a front surface board and a back surface board. Each surface board includes an inwardly facing surface and an outwardly facing surface and a cover sheet, and each cover sheet is wrapped around the outwardly facing surface of one of the surface boards. A marginal edge is attached to the inwardly facing surface of the surface board, and another marginal edge is unattached to the inwardly facing surface of the surface board. An end of the unattached marginal edge includes an extra edge extended from the unattached marginal edge, and the extra edge is folded against the unattached marginal edge. The unattached marginal edge is attached to the inwardly facing surface of an adjacent surface board to form a corner wrap around a corner of the adjacent surface board.

  • Publication number: 20140006523
Abstract: Methods, system and computer readable medium for discovering social groups include extracting activity related data associated with a user's social interactions from a source. The activity related data identifies information related to social contacts used during the social interactions at the source. The activity related data of the user is analyzed to identify co-occurrences of the social contacts. The co-occurrences determine a set of related contacts. The set of related contacts identified from the activity related data are clustered into distinct social groups. The social groups are used by a user to facilitate subsequent interactions.
