  • Publication number: 20220379079
Abstract: A catheter tube comprises a tube wall, which surrounds a tube lumen, wherein the tube wall comprises the following: a mesh; and a guide lumen around which the mesh is braided and in which a pull element extends from a proximal portion of the catheter tube to a distal portion of the catheter tube. The pull element is connected in a tension-resistant manner to the tube wall in the distal portion. The guide lumen guides the pull element at least partially around the tube lumen.

  • Publication number: 20220296888
Abstract: An implantable electrode lead comprises at least one electrode pole and a plurality of electrical conductors, at least one of which is electrically connected to the at least one electrode pole. The plurality of conductors are connected to one another to form a braid extending along a longitudinal axis, at least one first conductor of the plurality of conductors being helically wound about the longitudinal axis in a first direction of rotation, and at least one second conductor of the plurality of conductors being helically wound about the longitudinal axis in a second direction of rotation, which is opposite the first direction of rotation.

  • Publication number: 20200338319
Abstract: A device for delivering energy and/or measuring electrical activity in a tubular part of a body has a catheter and/or an inflatable balloon and at least one electrode. A distal end of the catheter with the at least one electrode, or the at least one electrode, is disposed on the outside of an envelope of the balloon. So as to achieve good contact between the at least one electrode and the wall of the vessel to be treated and continuous blood flow, the elasticity of the envelope of the balloon is less in at least one first region than in a second region that different from the first region. The distal end of the catheter with the at least one electrode is disposed in the at least one first region, or the at least one electrode is disposed in the at least one second region of the balloon.

  • Publication number: 20150328448
Abstract: An electrode element for electromedical therapy in a human or animal body, including an element body, on which at least one electric contact is arranged on an outer surface of the element body, wherein the at least one electric contact protrudes from the surface of the element body. The at least one electric contact has a raised contact body with an end face, on which at least one metal area is formed, wherein the metal area is surrounded by an electrical insulation. A catheter and a stimulation apparatus are also provided which include an electrode element.

  • Patent number: 8755908
Abstract: A conductive coil arrangement, in particular for electrode catheters for cardiac therapy, including a multipolar conductive coil having a plurality of coradially interwoven individual coil wires and a contact zone in which at least one individual coil wire from the conductive coil can be connected to a contact element for electrical contacting. The at least one individual coil wire to be contacted is routed outwardly out of the wire interconnection of the conductive coil with a radial direction component. The remainder of the conductive coil is routed further centrally axially through the contact zone.
