Patent number: 11048484Abstract: A system provides user interface (“UI”) layout design functionality. The system provides a canvas on a display, where the canvas is controlled by a grid that defines a first number of equally wide logical columns. The system then receives first user input for placing one or more panels on the canvas, where each panel is configured to horizontally occupy one or more of the first number of equally wide logical columns. The system further receives second user input for placing one or more UI components in each of the one or more panels. The system then creates a UI layout based on the first user input and the second user input. In one embodiment, each logical row in the canvas is split into equally wide logical columns, and each panel is controlled by a panel grid that also includes equally wide logical columns.Type: GrantFiled: April 8, 2016Date of Patent: June 29, 2021Assignee: Oracle International CorporationInventors: Richard E. Gunther, Jr., Jan Pirek, Jan Peska, Miloslav Metelka, Ondrej Brejla

Patent number: 4794177Abstract: The invention pertains to a method for the production of bead dextran materials for gel chromatography. The subject of the invention is a method for the production of bead dextran materials for gel chromatography, wherein dextran is, before or during the suspension process or in both stages, subjected to reduction in an alkaline solution, advantageously by the action of sodium borohydride, whereas the density of crosslinking is controlled above all by variation of the concentration of the initial dextran solution and the resulting gel may be optionally subjected to the additional crosslinking in a separate subsequent operation. The procedure according to the invention provides the product of higher quality with a lower content of carboxylic groups and substantially facilitates the preparation of gels with a very high and a very low crosslink density.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 1985Date of Patent: December 27, 1988Assignee: Ceskoslovenska akademie vedInventors: Jan Peska, Jiri Lenfeld, Zedenek Plichta, Milan Benes, Frantisek Svec, Jiri Coupek

Patent number: 4615880Abstract: An absorbing dressing for wounds consists of spherical particles of regenerated cellulose of the size 0.05-0.5 mm and a macroporous structure characterized by the cyclohexane regain of the dry material at least 0.2 ml/g. The dressing is prepared from the regenerated cellulose swollen with water by replacement with organic solvents and the subsequent drying of the product swollen with the said solvent and impregnated with a therapeutically active compound.Type: GrantFiled: April 12, 1984Date of Patent: October 7, 1986Assignees: Ceskoslovenska akademie ved of Prague, Akademie der Wissenschaften der DDRInventors: Frith Loth, Horst Dautzenberg, Jiri Stamberg, Jan Peska, Dieter Bertram, Herbert Lettau

Patent number: 4599209Abstract: A process of making a wound dressing is suggested, in which a technical conventional viscose solution is mixed with a polysaccharide derivative; the mixture is treated at increased temperatures such that it is thermally coagulated; the coagulate is wetted with a polyalkylene glycol and dried, whereby a particulate structure of the wound dressing is produced.Type: GrantFiled: July 5, 1984Date of Patent: July 8, 1986Assignee: Veb Leipziger Arzneimittel WerkInventors: Horst Dautzenberg, Fritz Loth, Bodo Borrmeister, Dieter Bertram, Herbert Lettau, Jiri Stamberg, Jan Peska

Patent number: 4536217Abstract: The invention pertains to the absorbing dressing for wounds, which consists of spherical particles of regenerated cellulose of the size 0.05-0.5 mm (preferably 0.05-0.3 mm) and a macroporous structure characterized by the cyclohexane regain of the dry material at least 0.2 ml/g. The dressing is prepared from the regenerated cellulose swollen with water by replacement with organic solvents and the subsequent drying of the product swollen with the said solvent. The porous structure of the dressing warrants that it can absorb excretions of the wound in the amount 1.5 to 5 g water per g of solids; the grainy macrostructure remains preserved during the absorption so that the material applied on the wound in the form of a powder in the layer 2-5 mm thick, in particular 2-3 mm thick, can be without difficulties and almost without pain rinsed away with water.Type: GrantFiled: September 28, 1983Date of Patent: August 20, 1985Assignees: Ceskoslovenska akademie ved of Praha, Akademie der Wissenschaften der DDRInventors: Fritz Loth, Horst Dautzenberg, Jiri Stamberg, Jan Peska, Dieter Bertram, Herbert Lettau

Patent number: 4055510Abstract: The invention relates to a method for manufacturing of spherical cellulose particles in bead form which enables to control the partial shape and porosity of the particles. Resulting cellulose sorbents are suitable carriers and materials for chromatography. The invented methods consists in heating a viscose (an aqueous solution of sodium cellulose xanthate) suspension in a water-immiscible liquid to 30.degree.-100.degree. C under stirring to form spherical droplets and solidify them and in the subsequent acidic decomposition of the solid xanthate globules either directly by addition of an acid soluble in the dispersion medium, or additionally after isolation and eventual washing of the particles to achieve the required wet volume. Liquids with the viscosity up to 100 cSt are advantageously used as dispersion medium and surfactants and/or modifying reagents (e.g. epichlorohydrine) may be added to the suspension.Type: GrantFiled: May 21, 1975Date of Patent: October 25, 1977Assignee: Ceskoslovenska akademie vedInventors: Jan Peska, Jiri Stamberg, Zdenko Blace
