  • Patent number: 11839843
Abstract: An intermediate cover of a filter housing of a filter for purifying liquids can be mounted in the filter housing for separating a filter receiving space for a filter insert from a centrifuge receiving space for a centrifuge separator by a rotary and/or insertion movement relative to an imaginary axis. The intermediate cover is provided with a portion of at least one clean fluid channel forming a fluidic connection between a clean fluid side of the filter insert and a fluid outlet of the filter housing for a purified clean fluid. The filter insert has a connecting device arranged at an axial end face and connectable to the intermediate cover. An outlet opening for purified clean fluid is arranged at the axial end face and corresponds with an inlet opening of the clean fluid channel of the intermediate cover. The outlet opening at least partially forms the connecting device.

  • Publication number: 20230316028
Abstract: Surgical articles, such as sponges, are provided in a pack which contains individual surgical articles having UHF RFID or other electronic labels which provide both (a) unique identification information for each article as well as (b) unique identification information for all articles in the pack. Prior to the surgical procedure, the labels are scanned and the identification information for all articles in the pack uploaded to a processor to create a list of available individual surgical articles. At the end of the surgical procedure, the surgical articles are collected and the electronic labels read and compared to the initial list to determine if there are any unaccounted individual surgical articles. The UHF RFID tag may then be used to determine a location of the unaccounted article outside the patient’s body.

  • Publication number: 20220277579
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of characterizing a person's hand geometry includes inputting a three-dimensional (3D) point cloud of the person's hand into a clustered dynamic graph convolutional neural network (clustered DGCNN), and processing the 3D point cloud, with a shared network portion of the clustered DGCNN, to create a processed version of the three-dimensional point cloud. The method further includes, with a shape regression network portion of the clustered DGCNN, assigning each respective feature point in the processed version of the 3D point cloud to a corresponding one of a plurality of pre-defined clusters, and applying one or more transformations to the feature points assigned to each respective cluster to produce per cluster shape parameters that represent shapes associated with portions of the person's hand that correspond to associated ones of the pre-defined clusters. Each pre-defined cluster corresponds to a unique part of a hand's surface.

  • Patent number: 11041469
Abstract: A discharge control device for a filter system and a filter system for filtering a media flow of a first and a second medium is provided with a collecting chamber that collects the second medium separated from the media flow. A sensor arrangement with a first sensor unit, a second sensor unit, a first shut-off valve having a closure body, and a second shut-off valve is provided. The first sensor unit is operatively connected to the first shut-off valve. The first sensor unit has a float that purely mechanically actuates the closure body of the first shut-off valve. The second shut-off valve is arranged in series in flow communication with the first shut-off valve. The second shut-off valve has an electromagnetically actuatable valve controlled by the second sensor unit as a function of a fill level of second medium in the collecting chamber.
