    Abstract: A wire cart has a plurality of shelving assemblies, each of which has an RFID antenna. The wire cart also has a controller that controls the RFID antennas and an actuator to activate the controller. The wire cart has an open side. The RFID antennas and control component are configured to limit the field of detection such that an RFID tag located substantially outside of the open side is excluded from detection.
