  • Patent number: 10370779
Abstract: A method is provided for operating an air spinning machine with a multiple number of spinning units, whereas each spinning unit has a spinning nozzle with an internal vortex chamber. The spinning nozzle is fed a fiber composite during the operation of the spinning unit. The spinning nozzle has a multiple number of air nozzles leading into the vortex chamber through which compressed air streams into the vortex chamber in order to generate a vortex air flow within the vortex chamber. The fiber composite receives a twist with the assistance of the vortex air flow within the vortex chamber such that a yarn is formed from the fiber composite. The air spinning machine features an additive supply, whereby an additive is at least temporarily fed a part of the spinning units. A liquid additive is used, whereas the additive is degassed prior to leaving the additive supply. In addition, an air spinning machine with a degassing device is described.

  • Publication number: 20170145601
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for operating an air spinning machine with a multiple number of spinning units (1), whereas each spinning unit (1) comprises at least one spinning nozzle (2) with an internal vortex chamber (6), whereas the spinning nozzle (2) is fed a fiber composite (4) through an inlet (5) of the spinning nozzle (2) during the operation of the spinning unit (1), whereas the spinning nozzle (2) features a multiple number of air nozzles (9) leading into the vortex chamber (6), through which, during the operating of the air spinning machine, compressed air streams into the vortex chamber (6), in order to generate a vortex air flow within the vortex chamber (6), whereas the fiber composite (4) receives a twist with the assistance of the vortex air flow within a vortex chamber (6), such that a yarn (3) is formed from the fiber composite (4), which ultimately leaves the spinning nozzle (2) through an outlet (8), and whereas the air spinning machine features an additive supply (10), with the assi

  • Patent number: 9353463
Abstract: A spinning point of a spinning machine includes a spinning unit, a drawing-off device for the yarn downstream of the spinning unit and a yarn storage downstream of the drawing-off device for the intermediate storage of a section of yarn. The yarn storage has a sensor system for monitoring the filling level of the yarn storage (7). The spinning point includes a winding device for the yarn downstream of the yarn storage, along with a return unit, with the assistance of which an end of the yarn found within the yarn storage after a yarn break is returned into the area of the spinning point. The winding device (9) is stopped in the case of a yarn break in such a manner that, after the stop, an end section of the yarn remains within the yarn storage (7).

  • Publication number: 20150283746
Abstract: The invention relates to an air spinning machine with at least one spinning unit (15) comprising at least one spinning nozzle (1), whereas the spinning unit (15) serves the purpose of producing a yarn (2) from a fiber composite (3) fed from a spinning nozzle (1), whereas the spinning nozzle (1) features an inlet (4) for the fiber composite (3), an internal vortex chamber (5), a yarn formation element (6) protruding into the vortex chamber (5), along with an outlet (7) for the yarn (2) produced inside the vortex chamber (5), and whereas the spinning nozzle (1) features multiple air nozzles (23) leading into the vortex chamber (5), which are in fluid connection with at least one air supply line (24), whereas, during the operation of the air spinning machine, compressed air provided by the air supply line (24) flows through the air nozzles (23) into the vortex chamber (5) in order to generate a vortex air flow in the vortex chamber (5).

  • Publication number: 20140283496
Abstract: The invention relates to a spinning point (1) of a spinning machine, whereas the spinning point (1) includes a spinning unit (5), a drawing-off device (6) for the yarn (2) downstream of the spinning unit (5) in the direction of transport (T) and a yarn accumulator (7) downstream of the drawing-off device (6) for the intermediate accumulation of a section of yarn, whereas the yarn accumulator (7) is allocated a sensor system (8) for monitoring the filling level of the yarn accumulator (7), whereas the spinning point includes a spooling device (9) for the yarn (2) downstream of the yarn accumulator (7), along with a return unit (10), with the assistance of which an end of the yarn (11), which is found within the yarn accumulator (7) after a yarn break, is able to be returned in the area of the spinning point (1).
