  • Patent number: 10437981
Abstract: An electronic system is provided. The electronic system includes a first electronic device and a second electronic device. The first electronic device generates a new key every certain time period. The second electronic device establishes a connection with the first electronic device to receive the new key therefrom to store the new key as a latest received key. When the first electronic device receives an input event under a locked status, the first electronic device requests the second electronic device to transmit the latest received key thereto, determines that whether the latest received key is the same as the new key and switches to a power on and unlocked status automatically when the latest received key is the same s the new key.

  • Publication number: 20190136256
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods of producing plants with preferred levels of vegetative growth periods, flowering times, and resistance to stress and pathogens; and uses of such plants. The inventors have identified that the ANGUSTIFOLIA(AtAN)/CtBP gene is a major determinant of the carbon allocation between the Shikimate Pathway and the Salicylic Acid (SA) and Jasmonic Acid(JA)/Ethylene pathway. Plants with modulated growth periods, flowering times, and resistance to stress/pathogen characteristics, based on modulation of the expression or activity of the ANGUSTIFOLIA (ATAN)/CTBP gene, have divergent uses including pulp and paper production, bioproduct production, and as pathogen-resistant crops.

  • Patent number: 10270583
Abstract: A transmit (TX) signal path circuit in a multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) transceiver responsive to a digital front end (DFE) for generating receive (RX) path phase alignment signals is disclosed. A digital up-conversion block uses a first numerically-controlled oscillator (NCO) for generating digital intermediate frequency (IF) signals for ordinary TX signal generation, and a different, second NCO for generating digital IF signals for RX phase alignment signal generation. An RF up-conversion block uses a TX local oscillator (LO) for generating analog RF signals for ordinary TX signal generation, and a different feedback (FB) LO for generating analog RF signals for RX phase alignment signal generation. Thus, phase alignment of the circuitry used for ordinary TX signal generation is left undisturbed by RX phase alignment signal generation.

  • Patent number: 9994998
Abstract: This disclosure provides plants having desirable levels of lignin synthesis, sugar release, S/G ratio, and resistance to stress and pathogens; methods of selecting plants with such desirable levels of lignin synthesis, sugar release, S/G ratio, and resistance to stress and pathogens; methods of genetically modifying plants to modulate lignin synthesis, sugar release, S/G ratio, and resistance to stress and pathogens; and uses of such plants. The inventors have determined that the expression and/or activity of POPTR_0014s08530, a gene encoding an Angustifolia/CtBP transcription factor, modulates lignin synthesis, sugar release, S/G ratio, and resistance to stress and pathogens in plants. Plants with lignin synthesis, sugar release, S/G ratio, and resistance to stress and pathogens, based on modulation of the expression or activity of the POPTR_0014s08530 gene, have divergent uses including pulp and paper production, and ethanol/biofuel production.

  • Patent number: 9298868
Abstract: A technique for generating pushdown data comprises performing logical pushdown of circuit elements and nets and detecting physical pushdown based on partition boundary crossings. Geometry associated with one logical level may be used as a keep-out region for the same physical layer when generating physical design of a different logical level. The technique may advantageously enable concurrent design in both top-level and low-level physical design phases, thereby reducing overall design cycle time in developing an integrated circuit.
