  • Publication number: 20250097699
Abstract: A network management system in an Internet-of-Things (IoT) environment includes a parent device with a first default configuration including a service set identifier (Wi-Fi SSID) that uniquely identifies a Wi-Fi network, a child device, wherein the child device is configured to identify the Wi-Fi SSID of the parent device, a network, wherein the parent device and the child device are configured to communicate via the network, and a network configuration module that is configured via computer executable instructions to lock the network, generate a second default configuration, provide the second default configuration to each child device, and turn off the second default configuration after the child device confirmed receipt of the second default configuration.

  • Publication number: 20250001889
Abstract: A modular and field upgradable infrastructure device is provided for electric vehicle (EV) charging. The infrastructure device comprises a common communications and control module/a common meter/power module that can be connected to individual charging modules. It further comprises one or more AC, DC and wireless charging modules as internal or external pluggable devices. The common communications and control module is coupled to the AC, DC and wireless charging modules such that the infrastructure device communicates with an EV using power line communications via a protocol or several protocols.

  • Publication number: 20240273426
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) system clock time synchronization based on a short-range wireless communication-based automated process. A system comprises a cellular mobile device having a short-range wireless communication capability to communicate with one or more EVSEs. The system further comprises a smart EVSE capable of gaining network connectivity, maintaining an EVSE system clock, and storing multiple days or months interval data logs and charging session data in order to provide reporting to a utility that allows retroactively calculating meter data and performing accurate billing to its customers such that the smart EVSE to synchronize time if power is lost when the network connectivity is down and to retrieve the interval data logs and the charging session data for updating to a cloud automatically to gain network connectivity for gaining an ability to perform Network Time Protocol (NTP) synchronization of the EVSE system clock.

  • Patent number: 11269297
Abstract: In order to control a technical system by means of control model a data container is received, in which data container a control model having a training structure and model type information are encoded over all the model types. One of multiple model-type specific execution modules is selected for the technical system as a function of the model type information. Furthermore, operating data channels of the technical system are assigned input channels of the control model as a function of the model type information. Operating data of the technical system are acquired via a respective operating data channel and are transferred to the control model via an input channel assigned to this operating data channel. The control model is executed by means of the selected execution module, wherein control data are derived from the transferred operating data according to the training structure and are output to control the technical system.
