As a matter of fact, this face-plate receives, on its rear face intended for applying against the front edge of said leaf, at least one casing capable of accomodating a control mechanism for locking organs such as operating rods or the like and, on its front face oriented towards the sash-frame, at least one safety shoulder with a view to impeding the leaf from moving upwards when it is in tilting position.

The displacements of the beam, the carriage and the fitting unit are program-controlled to enable the fitting of top striking plates to the top crossmember of the fixed frame and the fitting of striking plates to the uprights of the fixed frame.

    Abstract: Fitting for a door, window or the like comprising locking elements provided with at least one operating rod allowing the actuation of a mechanism for locking the leaf in rotation, in various angular positions, with respect to the sash-frame. This mechanism is composed of at least a clamping element and an additional member, one of which is made integral with an extension of the operating rod and the other one with the sash-frame. The clamping element and the additional member of the actuation mechanism are located on the rotation axis of the leaf, each comprising slits intended for co-operating with each other when actuating the locking elements. The clamping element further comprising connecting members intended for making same integral with either the sash-frame or the operating rod and with respect to which it can move with a stroke of a length at least equal to the height of its slits.

The seal fitting and cutting device comprises a frame, a gantry movable in translation on the frame and a carriage movable in translation on the gantry. A vertical shaft on the carriage is rotatable relative to the carriage. A manipulator head carried by this shaft carries a seal guide system, a seal cutting system and a seal fitting systems. A support plate is rotatable about a horizontal axis relative to the shaft and carries two units in turn carrying the seal guide, cutting and fitting systems. These two units are movable up and down in translation relative to the support plate.

The mobile carriage carries a manipulator head which rotates relative to the carriage and comprises a seal guide and drive system. A fixed part supports the cutting system. An arm articulated to the fixed part carries at its free end the seal fitting system. The machine further comprises a mechanism for feeding and removing the frames, preferably comprising two drive fingers mounted together to perform a synchronized to-and-fro movement. It finally comprises a frame clamping system mounted on the carriage and the manipulator head.
