  • Patent number: 8714905
Abstract: A pressure-balancing device for balancing pressure in at least one bearing enclosure of a turbojet, the enclosure including a mechanism feeding the bearing with lubricating liquid, an air intake, at least one sealing system placed between the stator and the rotor in front of and/or behind the bearing, a recovery mechanism recovering the lubricating liquid, and a removal mechanism removing the mixture of air and of traces of lubricating liquid towards a venting circuit. Downstream from the bearing enclosure and in the venting circuit, the balancing device includes a regulator system regulating the air removal flow rate, thereby enabling the flow rate to be variable as a function of the speed of the engine, to remain non-zero, and, at high speeds, to be lower than when the regulator system is not included.

  • Patent number: 7690184
Abstract: A method for treating an airflow, laden with oil, flowing in a tube communicating with a rolling bearing enclosure of a gas turbine engine, wherein the airflow is made to travel into a coking box associated with a heating mechanism, in which the air is heated to a sufficient temperature to coke the oil particles contained in the airflow. Preferably, the solid residues produced by the coking are collected in the coking box.

  • Patent number: 7591594
Abstract: A turbomachine roller bearing that supports a shaft constituted by a trunnion of a shaft line of a high-pressure spool of a turbomachine to rotate relative to a stationary support that is connected to a casing of the turbomachine, said bearing comprising rollers inserted between an outer ring disposed adjacent to the stationary support and an inner ring disposed adjacent to the high-pressure trunnion, the inner ring extending along the axis beyond a downstream end of the high-pressure trunnion to which it is secured by clamping means, and being provided with anti-rotation means for preventing said inner ring from rotating relative to the high-pressure trunnion.

  • Publication number: 20080173002
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for treating an airflow, laden with oil particles, flowing in a tube (9) communicating with a rolling bearing enclosure of a gas turbine engine, wherein said airflow is made to travel into a coking box (20) associated with a heating means, in which the air is heated to a sufficient temperature to coke the oil particles contained in the airflow. Preferably, the solid residues produced by the coking are collected in the coking box (20).

  • Publication number: 20060239812
Abstract: A device applied to regulating the flow rate of air flowing in a rotary shaft of a turbomachine, the shaft including at least one through orifice for passing air. The device at least one shutter member for shutting the orifice and secured to a deformable blade presenting bi-linear behavior, the blade being secured to the shaft and being suitable for deforming under the effect of the centrifugal force that results from the shaft rotating such that the shutter member is suitable for taking up two different positions depending on the speed of rotation of the shaft: one position in which it shuts the orifice; and another position in which it releases the orifice to allow air to pass through.
