Hovering of at least one input medium over the touch screen is detected. A first visual effect is provided based on where the input medium hovers over the touch screen and based on an attribute of the at least one object.

Abstract: A method of controlling a mobile apparatus to display an end effect is provided. The method includes displaying at least one object on a first layer on a touch screen, converting the at least one object in response to a first gesture that converts the at least one object, detecting that the conversion for the at least one object is ended, and displaying an end effect, which represents a message saying that the at least one object to be converted does not exist anymore or represents additional information, on the touch screen.

Abstract: The present invention relates to apparatus and method for road guidance using a mobile terminal. The method for road guidance using a mobile terminal includes receiving a map image created by a users input, setting at least one user-designated location to the map image according to the users input, setting location information of the user-designated location to the user-designated location, comparing the location information of the user-designated location with current location information of the mobile terminal; and notifying of arrival at the user-designated location. A user may arrive at a desired destination according to the present invention without using map data provided by a map data service provider.
