Patent number: 8632446Abstract: An exercise chair of the type wherein a user can sit on a seating platform and extend and retract his legs while his feet are resting on a spring-resisted foot rod includes a structure which permits the chairs to be stacked in nested relationship or a structure using foldable support legs for a seating platform allowing the seating platform to be folded into close relationship with a base frame for storage purposes.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2011Date of Patent: January 21, 2014Assignee: Mad Dogg Athletics, Inc.Inventors: Howard J. Solow, James V. Osburn, Julie Lobdell, Jeffery T. Samson

Publication number: 20130244844Abstract: An exercise table which finds use in Pilates exercising includes an outer framework, a slidably movable support platform, and a foot bar against which a user's feet can be engaged while sliding the support platform against the bias of springs by extending and retracting the user's legs. The frame has supporting legs which are tapered inwardly and downwardly so that one exercise table can be nestably stacked on another by inserting the tapered legs of an overlying exercise table through an opening in the frame of an underlying table until the frames themselves are closely adjacent. The foot bar, shoulder blocks, and pulleys used in operation of the table are also movable between elevated use positions and lowered storage positions to facilitate closely adjacent nestable stacking of identical exercise tables. Various systems are disclosed for accommodating different sized individuals while retaining desired resistance from resilient elements incorporated into the table.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 28, 2013Publication date: September 19, 2013Inventors: Howard Jay Solow, Julie Lobdell, Nicholas D. Smith, Chad Follmar, Jeffery T. Samson, Nicholas Aldo Nespeca

Publication number: 20040160117Abstract: An improved auxiliary braking apparatus adapted for use with a towed vehicle is provided. In order to provide a more accurate device that is substantially unaffected by gravitational changes experienced while in transit, the auxiliary braking apparatus uses a solid state inertia device to sense changes in inertia attributable to the braking of the towing vehicle. The braking apparatus includes a molded reservoir/pressure vessel with integral attaching features. The reservoir may be constructed from a two step injection molding process thereby lowering overall manufacturing costs of the braking apparatus as well as improving the ability of the reservoir to be directly mounted to the housing of the braking apparatus.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 17, 2003Publication date: August 19, 2004Inventors: Alec D. Brock, Daniel L. Decker, Leland C. Leber, Fredrick L. Stone, Jeffery T. Samson

Patent number: 5147055Abstract: A diaper container is provided having an exterior lid and an interior flap member wherein the lid and flap member are each provided with a filter element. The lid member is pivoted at a rear edge thereof to open the container and the flap member is pivoted at a central portion thereof and covers an opening for receiving diapers into the container. The pivotal movement of the flap member is limited in order to control dispersion of odors from the container. In addition, the body of the container is configured with its longest dimension in the front to rear direction whereby the container may be placed within narrow passages.Type: GrantFiled: September 4, 1991Date of Patent: September 15, 1992Assignee: Gerry Baby Products CompanyInventors: Jeffery T.
