  • Publication number: 20230195513
Abstract: In one embodiment, an operating system of a computing system determines, by an application instance manager of the operating system, that a first instance corresponding to a first application is to be activated according to an instance database managed by the operating system, where the first application includes several application components, including the first instance and a presenter. The application instance manager invokes the first instance and the presenter, the presenter being managed by the first instance. The operating system determines that the presenter is configured to present data obtained by a data provider, the data provider being one of several application components of a second application. The data provider accesses data from a data store and populates a dataset defined by the second application. The presenter of the first application generates a user interface to present the data from the dataset defined by the second application.

  • Patent number: 6367851
Abstract: A locking ring includes an annular ring portions with a U-shaped cross section. The locking ring serves to retain an electric meter in its meter socket in a manner which is well known. Both ends of the ring portion terminate in front housings, each housing having an axial lock receiving aperture therethrough. The locking ring further includes a free floating rear housing with two lock receiving apertures therethrough. When the ring ends are brought together, the front housings slide over the rear housing until their lock receiving apertures are in axial alignment. A barrel lock can then be inserted into each of the two sets of aligned apertures, to secure the locking ring against opening. When a barrel lock is removed from either set of apertures, the ring can be opened and removed from the meter.

  • Patent number: 6032989
Abstract: A locking ring includes two semi-annular ring portions with a U-shaped cross section. The locking ring serves to retain an electric meter in its meter socket in a manner which is well known. Both ends of each ring portion terminate in housings, each housing having an axial lock receiving aperture therethrough. When the ring halves are brought together to form a complete circle, the clockwise-most and counter-clockwise-most housings slide over each other until their lock receiving apertures are in axial alignment. A barrel lock can then be inserted into each of the two sets of aligned apertures, to secure the locking ring against opening. When a barrel lock is removed from either set of apertures, the ring can be opened at that location and removed from the meter.

  • Patent number: 5960653
Abstract: A door closure for an electric meter box comprises a barrel lock, a lock receiver, a tie rod, a locking nut, and a base plate. The lock includes a shank portion, a head portion, and a flange. The head portion resides in a hole in the meter box door, and the flange captures the outside surface of the door. The lock shank is received by a hole in one end of the lock receiver. The hole has an internal groove for receiving the locking balls in the lock shank. The other end of the lock receiver receives the threaded end of a tie rod. The other end of the tie rod is welded to a base plate, which is screwed into the back of the meter box. The position of the lock receiver can be adjusted to match the depth of the meter box by screwing the receiver up or down on the tie rod. The position of the receiver is then fixed by a lock nut immediately behind the lock receiver. The lock receiver can also be aligned with the door hole by flexing the tie rod.
