  • Publication number: 20240080749
Abstract: Example techniques relate to re-establishing connectivity of playback devices. In an example implementation, a first playback device determines that a first access point has been replaced with a second access point, wherein the first playback device previously established a valid network connection over the first WLAN using first network parameters. The first playback device connects to the second access point, the second access point providing a second WLAN. The first playback device requests, via the wireless network interface from the second access point, an IP address in a second subnet, the second subnet covering a different range of IP addresses than the first subnet and establishes a network connection over the second WLAN using second network parameters stored in the data storage of the first playback device.

  • Patent number: 11896388
Abstract: A Cheyne-Stokes (CS) diagnosis system classifies periods of CS-like breathing by examining a signal indicative of a respiratory parameter. For example, nasal flow data is processed to classify it as unambiguously CS breathing or nearly so and to display the classification Processing may detect and display: apnoeas, hypopnoeas, flow-limitation and snore. The signal may be split into equal length epochs and event features are extracted. Statistics are applied to these primary feature(s) to produce secondary feature(s) representing the entire epoch. Each secondary feature is grouped with other feature(s) extracted from the entire epoch rather than from the epoch events. This final group of features is the epoch pattern. The epoch pattern is classified to produce a probability for possible event classes (e.g., Cheyne-Stokes breathing, OSA, etc.). The epoch is assigned to the class with the highest probability, which may both be reported as an indication of disease state.

  • Patent number: 11846131
Abstract: A door status monitoring system includes a switch modulator coupled to a door and a control unit in communication with first and second display elements. A first position switch sends a first signal to the control unit when the switch modulator is proximate to the first position switch when the door is in a closed position. A second position switch sends a second signal to the control unit when the switch modulator is proximate to the second position switch when the door is in an open position. The control unit is configured to maintain the first and second display elements in a deactivated state in response to receiving the first signal, activate the first display element when the control unit is not receiving the first and second signals, and activate the second display element and deactivate the first display element in response to receiving the second signal.

  • Publication number: 20230352518
Abstract: An integrated circuit die includes a silicon chromium (SiCr) thin film resistor disposed on a first oxide layer. The SiCr thin film resistor has a resistor body and a resistor head. A second oxide layer overlays the SiCr thin film resistor. The second oxide layer has an opening exposing a surface of the resistor head. A metal pad is disposed in the opening in the second oxide layer and is contact with the surface of the resistor head exposed by the opening. Further, an interlevel dielectric layer is disposed on the second oxide layer overlaying the SiCr thin film resistor. A metal-filled via extends from a top surface of interlevel dielectric layer through the interlevel dielectric layer and contacts the metal pad disposed in the opening in the second oxide layer.

  • Patent number: 11759590
Abstract: In a respiratory apparatus for treatment of sleep apnea and other disorders associated with an obstruction of a patient's airway and which uses an airflow signal, an obstruction index is generated which detects the flattening of the inspiratory portion of the airflow. The flattening index serves as an obstruction index used to differentiate normal and obstructed breathing. The obstruction index is based upon comparison of values of airflow in different sectors of the inspiratory peak of the wave function and is particularly suitable for distinguishing M shaped or square shaped respiratory patters patterns indicative of partially obstructed airways.
