  • Patent number: 11926428
Abstract: The disclosure describes an automated aerial vehicle (AAV) and system for automatically detecting a contact or an imminent contact between a propeller of the AAV and an object (e.g., human, pet, or other animal). When a contact or an imminent contact is detected, a safety profile may be executed to reduce or avoid any potential harm to the object and/or the AAV. For example, if a contact with a propeller of the AAV by an object is detected, the rotation of the propeller may be stopped to avoid harming the object. Likewise, an object detection component may be used to detect an object that is nearing a propeller, stop the rotation of the propeller, and/or navigate the AAV away from the detected object.

  • Patent number: 11922347
Abstract: The future presence of a worker in a dynamic workspace which includes resources for temporary use may be signaled to other workers. In response a first worker making a reservation of a resource, a second worker to indicate the future presence of that first worker to is determined based on communication records associated with the first worker and the second worker. An indication of the reservation of the resource for the first worker, and thus the future presence of that first worker in an office which includes that reserved resource, is accordingly signaled to the second worker. A suggested resource for the second worker may then be determined based on the reservation of the resource for the first worker. In response to the second worker making a reservation of the suggested resource, a reservation record indicating the reservation of the suggested resource for the second worker may then be generated.

  • Publication number: 20240073393
Abstract: During operation of a machine, an understanding of terrain features is critical. Accordingly, disclosed embodiments augment a video stream, captured by a camera mounted on the machine, with terrain information. In particular, an overlay is generated on at least one image frame. The overlay, which may comprise one or more semi-transparent bands, may cyclically recede from a foreground to a background of the image frame(s), cyclically advance from a background to a foreground of the image frame(s), or cyclically move horizontally across the image frame(s). The overlay may be colorized to illustrate the height of the terrain underneath the overlay.

  • Patent number: 11911575
Abstract: A catheter for use in a patient's heart, especially for mapping a tubular region of the heart, has a catheter body, a deflectable intermediate section and a distal a mapping assembly that has a generally circular portion adapted to sit on or in a tubular region of the heart. A control handle of the catheter allows for single-handed manipulation of various control mechanisms that can deflect the intermediate section and contract the mapping assembly by means of a deflection control assembly and a linear control assembly. The deflection control assembly has a deflection arm and a rocker member. The linear control assembly has a linear control member, an inner rotational member and a cam. A pair of puller members are responsive to the deflection control assembly to bi-directionally deflect the intermediate section. • Patent number: 11909662
Abstract: Reservations of resources within a dynamic workspace are made and facilitated including by pushing configurations specific to a worker for whom a reservation is made to the resource for a limited time period for the reservation. When the worker arrives for the reservation and checks in, configurations associated with the worker are obtained and pushed to the resource to configure the resource for use by the worker for a time period of the reservation. In some cases, an identity of the worker may be verified to complete the check in process for the reservation. In response to an end time of the reservation being determined, such as based on a scheduled end time for the reservation or based on a determination that the resource has gone unused for some amount of time, the configurations are removed from the resource to prepare the resource for use by a next worker.
