  • Patent number: 10053824
Abstract: A road building machine wherein the danger of material falling out as the supply container is loaded is avoided. For this it is proposed that the container halves each have at least one shield which can be moved away as the container halves are folded up. Road building machines, more particularly road pavers and feeders are supplied with road building material from trucks, and, in order to receive the road building material the road building machines have supply containers with two movable container halves, and, when the supply container is filled, the invention helps prevents road building material from falling out from the supply container.

  • Patent number: 6523376
Abstract: A lock suitable for use in a motor vehicle door has a rotary latch, a locking wedge, a pawl, a setting device, and a transmission device wherein the rotary latch cooperates with the locking wedge to be locked in a locking position by the pawl. Upon actuation of a manipulator, the setting device brings the pawl electrically at least into one opening position. The transmission device brings the pawl into its opening position by actuation of the manipulator over a displacement range which is greater than a displacement range of an electric unlocking.

  • Patent number: 6279361
Abstract: A lock, suitable for use in a car door, has a rotary latch which cooperates with a locking wedge, or the like, and can be locked by a locking pawl in a locking position. The pawl is actuatable by a setting device for bringing the rotary latch at least into an open position. In order to provide a lock which is of improved efficiency and is both compact in construction and operates reliably, transmission elements are arranged between the pawl and the setting device for transmitting movement of the setting device, in stepped-down fashion, to the pawl.

  • Patent number: 6112564
Abstract: A lock, particularly for the door of a motor vehicle, having lock elements including at least one lock element which can be connected by connecting elements to at least one manipulator. A coupling device is arranged in a force transmission path between the manipulator and the at least one lock element.

  • Patent number: 6056334
Abstract: A closing device, in particular for vehicle doors or the like, having at least one manipulator which, with the interpositioning of a coupling device via connecting elements to a lock element can be driven by a setting drive, in particular a pawl when the setting device is activated, a transmission of force can take place from the at least one manipulator to the lock element over the coupling device which has a setting device.

  • Patent number: 5992194
Abstract: A lock including a device for unlocking the door of a motor vehicle in case of a malfunction of the lock, as in the event of an accident of the motor vehicle, to open the lock or allow the lock to be reliably opened manually. The unlocking is triggered by a setting device which can be operated during a malfunction independently of a supply of electric current for unlocking the door. Also included in the lock is a rotary latch for engaging a closure wedge upon a locking of the door, and a pawl which holds the latch in a locked position during normal locking of the door, but releasing the latch upon operation of the setting device in the event of a sensed malfunction.
